Join Mick and Jeff as they talk about artists, albums and music genres with passion that comes from personal connection. They’ve seen artists in concert at venues that don’t even exist today, bought albums when they were released on vinyl and, in some cases, met the artists.
Sometimes they love the artist or music they're talking about. Sometimes they don’t. But, without fail, you'll always hear something you didn’t know.

Classical music lovers know what they like and what they don’t like, but often they don’t know why? After Andy Bromberger’s successful face to face classes where she demystifies Classical music, she has now made ‘Coffee Cake and Culture – the Podcast’. Andy takes you on a musical journey of discovery from how melodies have changed over time to the complexities of equal temperament. As an added bonus, each episode involves a sweet treat, cake or biscuit to indulge in, with recipes on her website coffeecakeandculture.com.au. From novice to expert, listeners will enjoy ‘Coffee Cake and Culture – the Podcast’.
Andy Bromberger started her music career with a Bachelor of Music (performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music majoring in the Clarinet. For 20 years she taught clarinet, played professionally, and coordinated and conducted school bands. Andy started ‘Coffee Cake and Culture’ to combine her 4 major passions in life; music, education, history and BAKING.
Rob Kaldor knows nothing about classical music but loves his desserts! Rob is an audio producer and runs his podcast production company etales.com.au.

Our hosts, Dave and Mark, are two music obsessives who first met in 2008 at the community radio station RTRFM 92.1 in Perth, Western Australia. Bonding over a love of post punk and other alternative music genres, they soon began making music together and are still heavily involved in the city's fertile local music scene. They also like nothing more than a yarn about music, and their favourite (or not so favourite) bands. These conversations are often amusing, sometimes serious and occasionally, potentially libellous. Thus, the idea for this podcast was born. Each episode the lads choose a theme and each select five songs to explore the topic. The show is free flowing and so the facts are sometimes hazy and the chat can go in any direction. This is not your typical music show.

30 Rock is the podcast that explores the world's best albums at 30.
Nothing's off limits as we dig through the crates and raid the CD collection to uncover those gems from three decades ago.
We kick off in 1991 which has gone down in music history as the year that changed it all, when alternative rock took over the charts, and a band called Nirvana changed music forever. -

Music discovery used to come from all over the place: the radio, MTV, shared mix tapes, Rolling Stone magazine, and record stores, but not anymore. Enter Audio Judo, your music discovery podcast. Your hosts Matthew and Kyle will introduce you to great music new and old, talk a little about the history of bands and albums, and maybe make you chuckle a couple times (although no guarantees). Try out an episode anywhere podcasts are podcast, or check out our website at audiojudo.com. Audio Judo also has some sibling podcasts we produce that you might be interested in. First, our limited-run podcast series “Audio Judo Does Jazz” hosted by our show consultant Chris dives deep into the world of (surprise) jazz music. Check it out at ajdj.audiojudo.com. Next, Throughline, hosted by one of our previous guest hosts Christian. Throughline is a podcast that seeks to determine why songs were constructed and organized the way they were on an album with the hope of granting new perspectives on music you may not have otherwise realized. Check it out at throughline.audiojudo.com. All of the Audio Judo family of podcasts are proud members of Pantheon - the podcast network for music lovers.
