We were fortunate enough to catch up with one of our personal horror icons, the one and only Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street). We got a chance to catch up with the director, producers, and star of Haunted House of Pancakes, the new full-length feature selected for Happy Fright Film Festival. The director and writer, Nathan Dalton, stopped by the MCH studio. He brought with him Paul Newton (CoWriter), as well as Niki McElroy (actress) and Jay Johnson (producer/voice talent).

PG had a chance to catch up with two of the headliners for this years Happy Fright Film Fest, Richard Elfman (Forbidden Zone) and Anastasia Elfman (Bloody Bridget).
They were able to talk about Richard's movie the Forbidden Zone, as well as the lore that lead to the story of Bloody Bridget starring Anastasia as the Valentine vampire. PG was also able to discuss with Anastasia some of the behind the scenes of her associated avant-garde burlesque act.

PG and I had the chance to sit down with a super credited composer, one who even scored the iconic Killer Klowns from Outer Space, the one and only John Massari. We had a chance to talk a bit about his background, and the journey he took in his career, as well as talk about the whole development of Killer Klowns, and how we will be seeing him at the upcoming Happy Fright Film Fest at the Ventura Theater on Friday through Sunday, October 17-19.

After weeks on the road, PG and Mr Ree were ready to jump into a different thriller, again in the folk horror genre.... with The Alchemist Cookbook, a 2016 American horror film Written and Directed by Joel Potrykus. Here we meet Sean, (played by Ty Hickson) at the end of his rope chasing his dreams of riches, while holed up in the secluded Michigan woods. We also meet Cortez (played by Amari Cheatom), Sean's only connection to his previous life, and supplies. Things take a turn for the worse when Sean starts running low on supplies, just as the demons start to close in on him.

Did we just extend our Summer Rock Horror tour another date? I don't think that is what we meant to do, but we did it! We caught up with the 2021 Adams family film of Hellbender. Written, Directed, and Starring John Adams, Zelda Adams, and Toby Poser; along with their other daughter Lulu Adams. We caught up with this metal playing mom and daughter tucked away in the woods with one heck of a secret.
