When Ruth Ann Majauskas first launched her flower farm in 2020, she tried a little bit of everythingâfarmers markets, retail, subscriptions. But the magic happened when she shifted her focus entirely to wholesale⌠selling flowers directly to florists.
What started as trial and error quickly evolved into a streamlined system with loyal buyers, consistent orders, and a workflow she could count on. Now, Ruth Ann runs a thriving wholesale flower farm businessâand sheâs helping other flower farmers learn how to do the same.
In todayâs episode, she shares how she built her florist-focused business model, what makes the wholesale florist buyer tick, how she finds and communicates with them, what software she uses to manage weekly orders, and more. She even reveals how she uses the same marketing framework I teach inside Farm Marketing Schoolâtailored specifically to florists.
đ§ Tune in to hear how Ruth Ann built her flower business from the ground upâand how you can too.
Meet Today's Podcast Guest: Ruth Ann MajauskasRuth Ann Majauskas is the owner of Abundant Blooms Flower Farm in Dorr, Michigan. She started her farm in 2020 with her then three small children in tow. After dabbling in a few different sales models, she discovered her nicheâselling flowers to floristsâand now sells exclusively to them.
In December 2024, Ruth Ann launched a YouTube channel and online course, Selling Flowers to Florists, to teach other flower farmers how to do what she does. She's a wife and homeschooling mama to five children. When sheâs not farming, she enjoys trips to Lake Michigan with her family and reading a few paragraphs from her book each night before bed.

It started with a few innocent dog scratches. My dog Daisy was itching like crazy, and I began to wonder: could it be her food?
One Google search later, I found myself tumbling headfirst into a raw dog food rabbit holeâcomplete with Facebook ads, blog articles, YouTube videos, and a subscription box I could not refuse.
In just seven days, I went from âhmm, maybe Iâll try something newâ to full-blown raw food DIYer with a freezer full of meat and a meal plan I created myself. And I didnât just buy dog foodâI bought into an identity shift. I wanted to become the kind of person who makes her own dog food.
In this episode, I walk you through that transformationâfrom unaware to superfanâand break down the stages of the sales funnel framework that brought me there. Iâm also challenging YOU to think critically about how your farmâs sales funnel is designed to do the same thing for your customers.

Are you charging enough for your farm products or services?
Recently, I was on a coaching call with a farmer who ran a wedding event space on their farm. They were booked solid for over a yearâyet hadnât raised their prices in years. Thatâs a major sign they could (and should) charge more.
The truth is, most farmers hesitate to raise prices because theyâre afraid of losing customers. But what if I told you that keeping your prices too low could actually be hurting your business?
In todayâs episode, Iâm breaking down five key signs that itâs time to increase your pricesâand how to do it with confidence. Whether you sell produce, meat, flowers, CSA shares, or even farm experiences, this episode will help you rethink your pricing strategy and ensure your farm is profitable.

Is your farmâs sales funnel doing a great job of bringing in first-time customersâbut then dropping the ball when it comes to getting them to buy again?
I recently coached a farmer who sells grass-fed chicken, pork, and beef by the cut, along with farm bundles and beef shares. He had an amazing sales funnel that was driving leads and converting first-time buyers like clockwork. But hereâs the catch he had no system in place to encourage repeat buying.
In todayâs episode, Iâm sharing what I told this farmer to focus on next to boost his AOV and order frequencyâand Iâll give you a checklist of ideas you can implement to build out your own post-purchase system.
Tune in now to learn how to turn first-time buyers into loyal, repeat customers!

A few weeks ago, my farmer friend Glen Young (shoutout to Glen!) sent me a message: "Hey, Corinnaâdid you know your website pop-up isnât popping anymore?"
Uh-oh. Turns out, something had changed inside Kit.com (my email service provider), and I needed to go behind the scenes to tweak a few settings. That pop-up is one of the biggest drivers of email signups for my farm, so I was SO grateful he caught the issue before it went unnoticed for too long.
This got me thinkingâhow many farmers have a lead magnet set up but arenât actually promoting it in the right places? Or worse, have no idea if itâs even working?
So today, Iâm breaking down 5 key places you should be advertising your lead magnet so you can grow your email list faster and turn more leads into customers. Plus, Iâve got a free resource to help you brainstorm 20+ farm lead magnet ideas so you can get started today!
Your homework from this episode is to pick ONE of the ideas I share in the episode and start promoting your lead magnet there on a consistent basis every week!

Do your farm sales feel unpredictable? Are you waiting and hoping customers will buy, instead of creating intentional sales spikes?
Imagine if you could forecast your revenue and know exactly when your next big influx of sales was coming. Thatâs the power of Marketing Peaksâplanned, high-energy sales events that create urgency, drive customer action, and help you hit your revenue targets.
Most farmers donât realize that retail businesses (including big brands) strategically map out four or more marketing peaks every yearâand your farm should be doing this too. But how do you find your farmâs natural peaks? And what if you donât have an obvious seasonal holiday to work with?
In this episode, weâll explore:
â What a marketing peak actually is (Hint: You probably already have one and donât realize it!)
â The four most common peaks that every business should plan for
â How to identify YOUR farmâs perfect marketing peaks (beyond just Black Friday or CSA sign-ups)
â Creative, non-holiday sales events you can fabricate to stimulate buyer behavior
â How marketing peaks interplay with cash flow & financial planningđHit play now and start building your farmâs most profitable year yet.
Plus, Iâm sharing a free resource to help you map out your farmâs marketing peaksâso you can create a predictable revenue plan instead of just âhoping for sales.â

So I decided to turn this into a learning opportunity for all of us. I'm "going meta" as we use this milestone episode to discuss the marketing power of YOUR farm's milestone moments. Iâll share the lessons I learned from forgetting to celebrate this big achievementâand give you a roadmap for using anniversaries and other key dates to grow your farmâs business.
In this episode, you'll discover:
Why milestones create powerful marketing opportunities
The psychology behind milestone marketing (and why it works)
3 types of milestones you should celebrate

Farm Marketing School is an on-demand library of marketing workshops and project plans that will help you build some of the most important parts of your marketing system: building a promotion calendar, setting up your Google Business Profile, auditing your sales funnel, updating your home page of your website, building your first email nurture sequence, acquiring and deploying testimonials, writing great weekly email promotions, nurture emails, onboarding emails, and practicing different types of offers. You get to chose what you want to study and build each month. These projects are designed to be completed in under 30 days, so that you slowly build your marketing system piece by piece.
