We bring podcast on The DD India article titled "The India Growth Story" authored by Navroop Singh, that outlines the remarkable journey of India’s economic rise, positioning it as the world’s fifth-largest economy with a GDP of $3.72 trillion. It highlights how India’s economic composition has evolved, with the services sector now contributing over half of the GDP, followed by industry and a declining share from agriculture. With a strategic target of achieving a $5 trillion economy by 2025, the government is focusing on boosting manufacturing to comprise 25% of GDP. The article emphasizes India’s global standing in purchasing power parity and its growing economic influence across sectors.

The narrative also delves into key policy initiatives that have accelerated this growth trajectory, including "Make in India," "Atma Nirbhar Bharat," and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes. These reforms are designed to attract foreign investment, increase domestic manufacturing, and foster self-reliance, especially in sectors like electronics, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. With over ₹95,000 crore in investments already mobilized under the PLI schemes, the article presents a forward-looking view of India’s ambition to become a manufacturing powerhouse, underpinned by structural reforms and strategic vision.

In today’s episode “Falun Gong: China’s Silent War on Faith” , we dive into one of the most controversial narratives pushed by the Chinese Communist Party that Falun Gong, the spiritual practice banned in China since 1999, is secretly backed by the CIA. While Falun Gong has indeed been vocal against the CCP's authoritarianism and has built a powerful diaspora network through media and advocacy, there is no credible evidence proving any formal or covert ties to the CIA or other intelligence agencies. Chinese state propaganda routinely claims Falun Gong is a tool of American destabilization, but these accusations appear more like ideological smears than fact-based allegations. Falun Gong itself continues to deny any government ties, maintaining its identity as a spiritual discipline focused on truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.

We also explore how Falun Gong’s global outreach especially through platforms like The Epoch Times and Shen Yun has led to growing perceptions in China that it’s part of a larger anti-communist coalition. While their goals often align with U.S. critiques of the Chinese regime, this doesn’t imply CIA coordination. In fact, independent investigations and scholarly reports repeatedly find no evidence of operational backing. What we see is a grassroots resistance movement that, due to the brutality of its repression, has naturally found allies in human rights circles and Western democracies. The real story here is not covert espionage, but how personal faith collided with a totalitarian state and sparked a global moral and political response.

  • Namaskar,

In today’s episode, we explore the geopolitical, economic, and ethnic complexities surrounding Xinjiang, officially the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, also historically known as East Turkestan. Accounting for one-sixth of China’s landmass, Xinjiang is a strategic gateway to Central Asia and the Persian Gulf, rich with vital resources like coal, oil, gas, and precious minerals. The Chinese Communist Party's aggressive modernization efforts have exploited Xinjiang’s energy wealth through massive pipelines like the East-West Gas Pipeline and the Central Asia-China Gas Network. Yet, these developments have disproportionately benefited the Han migrants, deepening resentment among the indigenous Uighur Muslim population, leading to rising ethnic tensions, violent crackdowns, and the emergence of separatist movements like ETIM and TIP, which over time linked themselves with global jihadist networks.

We also dive into how Xinjiang has become pivotal to China’s broader ambitions, especially under the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), providing a vital overland route to bypass maritime vulnerabilities. However, this economic rise has come at the cost of massive human rights violations, international criticism, and covert support to Uighur advocacy groups from Western powers like the United States. As China seeks to secure its internal frontiers for its global ambitions, the growing unrest in Xinjiang and its increasing vulnerability to external interference could become a decisive fault line that will test the resilience of China’s global leadership aspirations in the years ahead.

In today’s episode “Myanmar’s Descent into Chaos: Proxy War, Ethnic Strife, and Narco-Terrorism” , we explore Myanmar’s complex internal conflict shaped by deep ethnic fault lines, the rise of narco-terrorism, and the proxy battles of global powers. We examine how groups like the United Wa State Army, Kachin Independence Army, Arakan Army, and Karen National Liberation Army control large territories, fueled by the narcotics economy and backed by external patrons. China’s dual strategy of supporting both the military junta and ethnic armed organizations is laid bare, as is America’s subtle support to resistance forces aiming to deny Beijing full control. We also uncover how India, balancing immediate security concerns with long-term regional interests, walks a delicate tightrope in Myanmar’s evolving crisis.

The episode highlights how Myanmar has transformed into a critical battleground for global influence, with the narco-economy funding insurgencies, ethnic militias carving autonomous zones, and major infrastructure corridors hanging in the balance. We analyze different future scenarios ranging from permanent fragmentation to a prolonged stalemate, and assess why Myanmar’s instability threatens the broader Indo-Pacific balance. This discussion offers a detailed breakdown of rebel groups, foreign interference, narcotics networks, and the critical stakes for India, China, and the United States in what is no longer a local civil war, but a regional faultline shaping the new Asian geopolitics.

The Podcast “Yemen's Endless War” traces the long and complex history of Yemen’s conflict, from its colonial past as divided North and South Yemen, through Cold War rivalries, unification under Ali Abdullah Saleh, and the eruption of civil war following the Arab Spring. It explores how internal grievances, combined with regional proxy battles, turned Yemen into a brutal battleground involving Iran-backed Houthis, Saudi Arabia’s coalition forces, UAE-supported Southern Transitional Council, and terror groups like AQAP and ISIS. The narrative follows how Western arms sales, Emirati use of private military contractors, and Russia’s growing influence with southern separatists have added further layers to Yemen’s fragmentation.

It also highlights how strategic control over the Bab al-Mandeb Strait has made Yemen a global flashpoint, drawing in the US, China, and France militarily. The Houthis' increasing threats toward Israel, Iran’s regional ambitions, and Russia’s interest in securing maritime dominance through Socotra are woven into the conflict’s modern phase. Throughout, the article emphasizes the catastrophic humanitarian toll: famine, disease, displaced populations, and collapsing infrastructure. Ultimately, it presents Yemen not just as a civil war zone but as a mirror reflecting the larger power struggles of the Middle East and beyond, with no end in sight.

In today’s episode “Pipelines, Ports, and Power: How Energy Corridors Are Redrawing the Map of Eurasia”, we take you deep inside the real drivers behind some of the world’s biggest conflicts from Afghanistan to Syria to Ukraine. We’ll uncover how global energy battles, gas pipelines, and rare earth resources have shaped wars, regime changes, and trade alliances. We explore how the Qatar gas pipeline rejection by Syria triggered a proxy war, how the U.S. quietly supported the rise of the Taliban in the 1990s for energy access, and how Afghanistan’s untapped lithium reserves factored into long-term U.S. strategy. We also break down how Russia used pipelines like Nord Stream to dominate Europe and how the Ukraine war reshaped Europe’s entire energy map, giving rise to U.S. and Qatari LNG dominance.

Then, we move to the future: how India’s new IMEEC corridor challenges China’s Belt and Road Initiative, how China’s pipelines in Myanmar create strategic backdoors to the Indian Ocean, and how the U.S. is countering China’s moves through hybrid strategies. This episode will connect all the dots pipelines, ports, rare earths, LNG supplies, digital trade corridors and show you how the real wars of the 21st century are no longer just fought with armies, but with infrastructure, minerals, and trade routes. Stay tuned as we unpack the hidden energy and corridor wars reshaping the global order.

In today’s episode “Taiwan: The Question of One China”, we dive deep into the historical, political, and strategic complexities surrounding Taiwan and the One China Policy a faultline that continues to threaten regional and global stability. We trace Taiwan’s journey from its Qing dynasty annexation to Japanese control, to the establishment of the Republic of China on the island post-1949, and the slow diplomatic isolation orchestrated by Beijing. We explore how U.S. policy from Truman to Nixon to Biden has oscillated between strategic ambiguity and military support, maintaining Taiwan’s self-defense capabilities while diplomatically endorsing the One China principle. The narrative explains the rise of President Tsai Ing-wen and Taiwan’s growing assertion of its democratic identity, putting it on a collision course with Beijing’s reunification agenda.

We further uncover China’s multi-layered strategy to subvert Taiwan through United Front political operations, economic coercion, and aggressive intelligence activities. From co-opting Taiwanese elites, to weaponizing trade, to targeting Taiwanese industries and companies globally, China is employing all tools short of open warfare to erode Taiwan’s autonomy. As Taiwan strengthens its U.S. ties militarily, economically, and diplomatically, China’s insecurities deepen, making the Taiwan Strait one of the most dangerous flashpoints in the world today. This episode provides a comprehensive overview of the roots, evolution, and current dynamics of the Taiwan issue explaining why it’s not just a local dispute, but a potential trigger for a much larger conflict.

In today’s episode “Target Asian Century: West’s bid to Derail the rise of Asian Powers”, we explore how the modern Great Game has returned to South Asia, with the West, led by Washington, actively seeking to disrupt the rise of Asia’s manufacturing powers China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. Using tools like trade wars, sanctions, and proxy terror networks, the Atlantic powers are trying to ignite regional conflicts that would freeze investment, destabilize supply chains, and delay Asia’s economic ascent.

The recent Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir on April 22, 2025, is analyzed not merely as an Indo-Pakistan flashpoint, but as part of a wider strategy to fracture Asian unity and draw India and China into a destabilizing confrontation, serving the long-term interests of the West.

We also deep dive into how intelligence operations like Mossad’s recruitment of Jundallah in Balochistan against Iran and the sabotage of Bandar Abbas reveal the sophisticated use of proxies to undermine critical Asian trade routes.

This podcast explains why India must retaliate for Pahalgam but do so smartly, avoiding the trap of full-scale war that would derail its economic ambitions. It emphasizes that the future of the Asian century hinges on strategic maturity, resilience, and refusing to let external actors dictate the region’s destiny. The Great Game has returned but this time, it is Asia’s moment to choose its own future.

  • This podcast “Ukrainian Conflict and the Trump Reset with Russia” provides a comprehensive, chronological analysis of the Russia-Ukraine war from its historical roots to the present geopolitical impasse in 2025. It begins by tracing the conflict back to post-Soviet agreements like the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and NATO’s eastward expansion, which fueled Russian suspicions and strategic pushback. The narrative explores pivotal events such as the 2014 Crimean annexation, the Donbass uprising, and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. It highlights Ukraine’s fierce resistance, the West’s unprecedented sanctions, the role of big tech in information warfare, and the emergence of a digitally divided world order. The humanitarian cost, mass displacement, and battlefield realities from Bucha to Bakhmut are described alongside Ukraine’s tactical resilience and Russian recalibration toward territorial consolidation in the south and east.

The second half examines the broader geopolitical dimensions, including China’s cautious support for Russia, the role of BRICS, and Europe’s internal divisions on prolonging support for Ukraine. It analyzes the Trump administration’s controversial peace plan, which proposes territorial concessions in exchange for a ceasefire and reconstruction a proposal heavily criticized by both Kyiv and European capitals. The article closes by warning of a shifting global order where territorial aggression is normalized, and alliances are recalibrated. The Russia-Ukraine conflict, it argues, is not just a regional war but a defining struggle over the future of sovereignty, international law, and great power competition in the 21st century.

In this episode “Shadow Empires: The Global Contest for Africa’s Strategic Minerals”, we dive into the intensifying global contest for control over Africa’s critical minerals—resources like cobalt, lithium, rare earths, and gold that are foundational to the future of clean energy, defense technologies, and global manufacturing. The article unpacks how the United States, China, and Russia are waging a silent hybrid war across the continent through a blend of state-backed companies, private military contractors, intelligence operations, and shadow financing networks. From Chinese infrastructure deals in the DRC to Russian mercenary control over diamond mines in CAR, and the U.S.'s covert countermeasures via AFRICOM and CIA-backed mining interests, Africa is fast becoming the most strategic battlefield of the 21st century.

We also explore the lesser-discussed yet vital roles played by France—struggling to retain its post-colonial mineral influence—and India, which is emerging as a subtle but strategic player through soft power and mineral diplomacy. The article connects the dots between geopolitical ambition, elite patronage, terrorism financing, ESG double standards, and the future of global supply chains. At stake is not just Africa’s mineral sovereignty, but the balance of global power itself. Tune in to uncover how minerals beneath Africa’s soil are shaping the next era of world order.

In this episode of Niti Shastra , we unpack India’s strategic suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty in response to the brutal April 22, 2025 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 27 tourists. The decision marks a turning point in New Delhi’s national security doctrine, signaling that acts of terror will now face consequences beyond diplomatic condemnation. We trace the origins of the treaty, its lopsided terms favoring Pakistan, and how India’s restraint over the decades has been met with persistent hostility.

The episode explores Pakistan’s deep dependence on Indus waters for agriculture, employment, and food security and how India’s move threatens to shrink Pakistan’s GDP, trigger inflation, and inflame rural unrest, exposing the fragile economic foundation of a state that has weaponized terrorism while benefiting from India’s goodwill.

“There are decades when nothing happens, and then there are days when decades happen.”

These past few weeks have proven that line truer than ever. From the gold markets flashing warning signs of a collapsing monetary order, to tariff walls rising faster than ever between economic giants, to a river that has flowed in silence for sixty years now being used as a tool in statecraft for legitimate aims - the world is turning on its head.

This exhaustive podcast on our article “Global Arms Trade: Spreading Conflict across the World” traces the undercurrents of the global small arms trade, showing how it has powered wars from the jungles of Africa to the highlands of Central Asia, the alleys of Latin America, and the streets of the Balkans. With over 80% of armed conflict casualties stemming from small arms, this black and gray arms network fueled by surplus weapons, corrupt officials, ideological proxy wars, and the global Military-Industrial Complex has shaped the modern world in blood and fire. The article reveals how state and non-state actors, often supplied by the very powers later claiming to fight them, become pawns in a worldwide matrix of violence and control.

From CIA's Cold War-era support for Afghan Mujahideen to Gaddafi's weapons finding their way into Syrian rebel hands, and from Albanian depot lootings to Myanmar’s black-market arms sales, the trade is unrelenting. Key players like Russia, China, Eastern Europe, and the U.S. figure prominently as both legal and illicit suppliers. This comprehensive chronicle reveals the devastating human and geopolitical cost of the unregulated small arms economy and the cyclical nature of armed strife it perpetuates.

This Podcast based on article “From Gulags to Global Power: The Story of the Russian Mafia”, traces the rise of the Russian Mafia known as the Bratva from its origins in Stalin’s gulags to its evolution as a powerful global criminal syndicate. It explores how the Soviet prison caste of Vory v Zakone laid the ideological foundation for a mafia culture that rejected the state and thrived on an internal code of honor. With the collapse of the USSR, this subculture rapidly expanded as ex-KGB officers, war veterans, and opportunistic criminals seized privatized assets, corrupted the political system, and fused organized crime with capitalism. The Bratva soon emerged not just as street thugs or oligarch-linked cartels, but as sophisticated transnational players embedded in banking, politics, and international markets.

The piece dives into the mafia's deep penetration into the United States via immigration hubs like Brighton Beach and its links to the NRA, financial fraud, and cybercrime. It also unpacks how the Bratva used Israel's diamond industry in Ramat Gan to launder blood diamonds from African warzones. A detailed account follows of their drug empires from Afghan heroin routed through Central Asia to Latin American cocaine and synthetic drug production. Finally, it documents their dominance in the illicit global arms trade, with figures like Viktor Bout and Semion Mogilevich at the center, and explores how mafia logistics have been used to support conflict zones in Ukraine, Syria, and Africa. The article concludes by warning that the Bratva is no longer just a criminal network it’s a shadow geopolitical force, operating at the blurred intersection of state, crime, and capital.

The Podcast on article "House of Cards: The Dollar, the Debt, and the Delusion of Wealth" dissects the fragility of America’s economic foundation, arguing that the U.S. financial system operates on an unsustainable illusion of strength propped up by global trust in the dollar. It outlines how decades of unchecked fiscal expansion, ballooning federal debt, and artificially low interest rates have created a fragile, leveraged economic structure. This structure is likened to a “house of cards” – vulnerable to collapse should external confidence wane or inflation spiral out of control. The article critiques the reliance on debt monetization by the Federal Reserve and warns that political leadership lacks the will to implement meaningful fiscal reform.

Further, the piece explores how America's privileged position issuing the world’s reserve currency has allowed it to delay the repercussions of its own profligacy, exporting inflation and absorbing global savings. However, it warns that this position is being challenged by de-dollarization efforts across the globe, as countries like China, Russia, and even allies begin creating alternative payment systems and reserves. The author paints a picture of a coming reckoning where the façade of U.S. fiscal stability may no longer be tenable, with profound consequences for global finance, interest rates, and the geopolitical balance. The article ends with a sobering forecast: unless drastic realignments occur, the world could witness a global monetary reset, with gold and commodities re-emerging as stable anchors.

The Podcast on article "Gray Wolves, Gladio, and the Deep State" explores the shadowy nexus between Turkey's ultranationalist paramilitary group the Gray Wolves, NATO's clandestine Cold War operation Gladio, and the concept of a deep state manipulating events behind the scenes. It delves into how the Gray Wolves, initially formed as a nationalist youth wing, became a violent instrument of state-backed repression, particularly during the political chaos of the 1970s. The group was allegedly used to carry out assassinations, suppress left-wing movements, and sow instability often with tacit approval or covert assistance from Turkish intelligence and military officials working in concert with Western intelligence networks.

The piece further draws parallels between Operation Gladio, which set up secret "stay-behind" armies in Europe, and the tactics used in Turkey where the deep state is believed to have operated a similar network through the Gray Wolves. These covert alliances blurred the lines between state institutions and organized militias, fostering a legacy of political violence and state complicity. The podcast argues that this confluence of nationalist ideology, Western strategic interests, and internal security paranoia helped entrench an authoritarian underbelly within Turkey’s democracy one that still reverberates in modern political crises.

The podcast on article “The Shadow Pact: CIA, Vatican, and the Cold War’s Invisible Hand” published on Nitishastra explores the deeply intertwined and covert alliance between the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States and the Vatican, particularly during the height of the Cold War. It reveals how these two institutions one wielding geopolitical intelligence and the other immense spiritual influence formed a shadowy collaboration to counteract the rise of communism, especially in Europe and Latin America. The piece traces how Catholic networks, including Opus Dei and other clerical movements, were utilized as ideological and logistical allies to infiltrate or undermine leftist regimes and socialist movements perceived as threats to the Western world order. It also touches on the financing and protection of key figures involved in anti-communist operations, and the manipulation of religious narratives for political ends.

Furthermore, the article examines how this alliance gave rise to a global covert network involving not just religious orders and intelligence operatives but also criminal syndicates like the Sicilian Mafia and remnants of fascist forces from World War II. These alliances facilitated money laundering, arms trafficking, and black operations, all under the cover of ideological warfare. By weaving together declassified documents, historical events, and whistleblower testimonies, the piece underscores how faith, espionage, and realpolitik merged into a powerful yet unacknowledged engine of global influence. Ultimately, the article presents a haunting narrative about how sacred institutions and state intelligence blurred the lines between salvation and subversion in the name of anti-communism and Western supremacy.
