You already have a personal brand - even if youâve never thought about it that way.
Itâs not about being an influencer or having a perfectly curated aesthetic. Your personal brand is how you show up in the world, how youâre perceived, and how you connect with others.
Today, I'm joined by Krista Marie - personal branding strategist, photographer, and podcast host - to break down what it really means to create a personal brand that feels like you, and not just some performance. In this episode, weâre covering:What a personal brand actually is (and what it isnât)How to build your brand around your values, not just your visualsThe difference between your niche and your personal brandHow to show up authentically - even if you donât feel âreadyâ yetIf youâre ready to create a personal brand youâre actually proud of without all of the overwhelm and generic advice, this episode is for you!

In this episode, weâre debunking the âright timeâ myth and how you can stop falling into this trap. If youâre ready to stop thinking and start doing, youâre in the right place!

Our National Parks are in danger, plain and simple. After mass layoffs in February, the National Park Service is now facing staffing issues that are going to have a direct impact on everything from park cleanliness and camping availability to visitor safety and emergency response times.
Because of this news, I thought it was important to draw attention to the amazing programs that the NPS provides to the public by revisiting my conversation with Ranger Connie from 2023. Connie Lau is a former high school teacher who made a huge career pivot by stepping out of the classroom and into the great outdoors as a park ranger at Yosemite.
After hearing about Connieâs role as a ranger, I think youâll have an even greater appreciation of this type of work (I know I did!), and maybe even be inspired to make a big career pivot yourself!

Itâs that time of year again when everyone starts talking about all the ways theyâre going to be successful, productive, and better than ever in the new year.
But how often have you excitedly set a big new yearâs resolution, only to get bored with it by January 20?
Youâre not alone!
In this episode, weâre talking about why New Yearâs resolutions often fail, and what you can do instead to have an amazing 2025.
Rather than looking at what to ADD in the new year, pause and reflect about what you want to LEAVE BEHIND from this year.
Use these questions from the episode to help you get clear on the areas of your life that need a little editing and simplifying:What worked for you this year? What didnât work for you this year? What felt heavy or draining? What brought me joy, ease, and lightness? What limiting beliefs or thought patterns are no longer serving you? What emotions are you holding onto that no longer align with who youâre becoming?Iâll see you back here for a new episode on January 8!

In todayâs episode, weâre debunking the perfection myth and getting real about the mindset shifts involved in boldly and confidently taking action, even when you donât feel ready.

Letâs be honest: putting your thing out into the world is SCARY! Whether youâre an artist or a coach or a small business owner, it can always be uncomfortable talking about your product or service.
You might start asking yourself âwhat if no one buys?â
Or âwhat if people thing Iâm being annoying?â
Or, worst yet, âwhat if no one is paying attention at all and I just hear crickets every time I post?â
And these are all totally natural fears, but theyâre getting in your way! Your fear of being annoying or salesy is holding you back from showing up authentically and confidently selling what you have to offer.
In todayâs episode, Iâm talking with Shaina Braun, founder of the Anti 9-5, about to get over all of those limiting beliefs that are holding you back from showing up, sharing your thing, and making sales!
Sheâs talking about how often you should post about your offer (spoiler: itâs a lot!) and how to make sure that your content is being seen by the right people at the right time. Weâre also digging into finding your path as a multi-passionate person, infusing your business with brand with your own personality, and how to find confidence when youâre first starting out.
In other words, itâs a value-packed conversation and youâre not going to want to miss this one.
