Elle James originally joined many other millennials in creating videos out of boredom during the pandemic lockdown in 2020. What started out as an outlet for James to escape the monotony of cabin fever, has brought her success and the attention of many A-list celebrities, including the attention of Shaquille O’Neal who elevated her “cool mom status” after sending her children MacBooks for a video she made with him. James is well known for her duets but also uses her platform to share stories, including embarrassing ones, about her life in a comical fashion that people relate to. From tales as a working professional, mother, or as a single navigating the dating world, her stories bring laughter to many while inspiring others. “The weirder I was, the more people seemed to like it,” said Elle James. “Perhaps people found me relatable, maybe I just brought them a laugh, but whatever the reason may be, it enabled me to let go of any insecurities I felt and allowed me to be my most shameless self.” Growing up James was a very shy child with low self-esteem, but the last three years has brought a confidence and shamelessness she may have never achieved without TikTok. She adds “I realized ‘perfect’ was the opposite of what people on social media loved about me. And so here I am, three years later, messy, unfiltered and the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Andy Jones, Nick Jones and Chris Lathrop command you to kneel before whatever you use to listen to rock music podcasts and soak up the banter!
Since 2013, this trio of KISS fans representing multiple generations analyzed every song from the band’s catalog, selected randomly from their 1974 debut through their most recent release, Monster. Now, they’re taking on songs by any band from any rock music genre, submitted by the show’s listeners.
So hear their words and take heed as they slowly rob you of your virgin soul! Who knows – Pod of Thunder might just become your favorite rock and roll podcast (if it hasn’t already)! -
Proud progenitor of #thegreatpodcastswindle. Since 2012, Jonah Ray, Neil Mahoney and Cash Hartzell have argued, laughed, loved and gradually cut back on their drinking all while loosely discussing and playing submitted music. The three man team, often with a guest, sometimes without, are constantly pushing boundaries in the medium of "music news" Not since Rolling Stone introduced us to the New Journalism of Tom Wolfe and Hunter S. Thompson has a medium given rise to an artistic movement more clearly than podcasting and Jonah Raydio. And as an investment in the phrase "the best music is the best because it's personal" each week our heroes match a situation, a hypothetical question with their own personal favorite. Past "themes" have resulted in a fantasy novel based on Run The Jewels, a playlist of Beta Male Bachelor Party bangers and new directions for corporate entity radio stations. Jonah Raydio w/Cash feat. Neil. It's not your daddy's music podcast. It's Jonah's.
