I love the idea of dopamine decor—surrounding yourself with beautiful things. As William Morris once said, 'Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

Compartmentalisation is the greatest energy technique I have ever learnt. It’s about boxing your energy up into containers and only focusing on one thing at a time.

I was raised to believe that the busier you were, the better you were or the more important you were. That's not true. It's a trick.
Busy is a choice. Stress is a choice. Joy is a choice. Choose well.

It's emotionally exhausting running around hoping that people are going to meet your standards. Do you want to continue to be disappointed or lower your standards and let it go?
-
Checking in with other people is very caring, but not if it's at the expense of you. Have a think about your currency of care. How much do you care? Do you care enough about yourself? Do you care way too much about other people?

Can you disappoint another in order to be true to yourself? How often do you disappoint yourself because you have been trained into doing what everyone else wants?

If you think you’re old, you're not. If you think you’re running out of time, you're not. We’ve got more time than ever because we’ve got less to do. Stay constantly curious.

Energy vampires are people who suck the bloody life force out of you. And we all know people like this. There are five distinct types of vampires: drama queens, human dumpsters, control freaks, victims, and narcissists.

Go out and be very empowered this week. Walk around every day like the day was designed for you. Like it's your ideal day. Like the world just wants you here.

International Women's Day is not about making men wrong. It's about creating space and creating events and just creating energy that makes women better.

Knowing what you stand for as a parent is big. Don't be too bothered about what other people think. Everything's a phase and nothing lasts forever. Make sure that you have fun parenting.

Just wrapped up our final energy festival in the gorgeous Wairarapa—dancing on lawns, meditating under trees, and celebrating brave souls who showed up solo (which I totally admire). Had a classic Lisa moment booking a rental car in Scotland instead of New Zealand (ADHD strikes again!), turning a simple trip into a five-hour adventure. Now I'm off to Melbourne for International Women's Day (please, no more cupcakes—give us equal pay!), then prepping for Shanghai in May. The energy festivals are done, but Energy Club is about to go next level! Come join us for exclusive content at just $25 a month if you're craving more of this beautiful chaos. x

We often talk about what goes into our bodies and we're conscious of our physical diet, but I don't think enough of us are conscious of a head diet or a mind diet.

Breathing is one of the things that will impact your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy all at the same time. When my head and my heart can't agree, I give myself the space to just breathe.

There is no point working hard, saving money just to die. The whole point of life is to enjoy it and have experiences. Every now and then, one must have a consolidation week where you just have to do the mercy of all the shit you haven't been doing.

We are not born new. We are born renewed, rested and restored from our previous battles, but scarred nonetheless.

Sleep is so vital because it's like a body reset, and I think of it as a software upgrade. Creating a space for sleep is something that's worth looking into.

My overachieving energy has turned into me constantly overdoing things. Perfectionism is an energy, and there's a fear there of not being good enough. Find joy in the mess. Embrace imperfection.

Relationships should be two way streets where you get and you give. If you're just giving all the time or you just become their problem bulletin board, find a way to pause them.
