Ty is a returning guest on the show. Shop owner, hunter, and accomplished tournament shooter he is always great to talk with. This show goes different directions. We talk about his shop, this last weekend of him shooting TAC and ASA. Some how we get into different ways people hold the pin on a target. This started the thought of a bigger dot verse a small dot. Bobby Johnson is the range captain for Tulsa Archery Association as well as the Shot the 3D (our local TAC style events). TAA has cut some new lanes for the upcoming ASA qualifier. This week is a typical phone call Neil and Myself have every week. We cuss and discuss our recent shooting and what where we want to go with it. Neil learned a lot with his set in the wind and goes his changes he is doing. I am still trying out different combinations on the new Title platform. Its an easy deep dive into what we have going.

Pro Mathews Shooter Dane Johnson is coming off a stellar indoor season and kept the winning going through the first ASA this year. He is the winner of the first ever ASA Known Pro class shooting 60 yards. We talk about then indoor season, the ASA, his equipment, but the part of this conversation that was heart felt and means a lot to Dane is his family. We talked with Brooklyn once before and she told us that the game for her was to step into the unknown yardage ASA. This young lady crushed it her first time out in 2025 ASA Pro/Am in Foley AL. Dylan Hurt is a present team member of the Oklahoma Storm JOAD team. She details a long journey she has been on since she first shot archery with the Trosper Archery group. She will be moving to Texas mid summer so she can attend Texas A&M this fall. If I try to explain her path to making their highly decorated Archery Team I will mess it up. These guys own and operate The Tru Hunting Experience - Deerman The 3d guys. This group has been around since the early 2000. Their way of scoring a 3D target and style of 3D shoot is not what the standard is. But they are trying to reset the standard and you can hear the passion and ownership in this conversation. They are proof that there are many ways to shoot and score 3D animals.

Tim Yohman is out of Central Texas. His journey moving up to the Pro class is what many strive for. Tim explains his approach to learn from and his payback to local archery shop, this was a big stepping stone that allowed him recognition with a bow manufacturer and led to a sponsorship. Yea we really never went any where. Just with hunting season starting and self imposed injuries. It has been kinda quiet for us. So on this show we talk about new equipment that has been released. We get the Oklahoma Bowhunter man himself just before opening morning of archery season. Kreg has a simple goal every year. He wants to introduce bowhunting to someone that has never done go to experience the hunt with a bow. Neil is made of great questions that allows us to understand Kreg's methods of hunting large plots of land and even his suburban hunting techniques.
