Iris goes back home after Dacre’s army invaded her station and Roman is as good as gone (at least to her knowledge).
Turns out Dacre needed a new propaganda writer and saw that Roman is perfect for the job and takes him to the underworld. Roman is alive but has no memories of his life prior to his kidnapping.
Roman finds his way back to his typewriter and starts writing to a mysterious pen pal.
Will that trigger Roman to wake up and fight Dacre? No lol
It’s not that easy.

The bitterly estranged Gods, Dacre and Enva, are amidst a great war with each other. Why? Tale as old as time: Enva wants to leave and Dacre doesn’t want to be left.
As the war persists, Iris competes with her “gets whatever he wants” coworker, Roman, for the lead columnist at the Oath Gazette. Iris is already juggling many things: her alcoholic mother, her missing brother, and her losing every great writing opportunity to Roman.
She copes by writing letters to her missing brother but is surprised when one day…she actually gets a reply!
Only, it's not her brother writing back.
After many exchanged letters, Iris and this stranger soon forge a connection. But can this connection be trusted amidst a war between the Gods?

Happy Valentine’s Day! We LOVE love. Listen to us talk about our favorite romantic books, movies, and tropes!
-
It's the month of LOVE! So we’re starting off strong with a Nicholas Sparks high school romance. Landon is a troubled bad boy and his punishment for drinking on campus is to participate in the school’s play. Sounds very High School Musical right? Here, he starts running lines (and falling in love) with our female protagonist. It’s honestly too cute and because it's Nicholas Sparks - also very tragic.

If you enjoyed our previous episodes (Orphan, Gone Girl, and Verity), then you’ll certainly enjoy this one! It’s a mix of all our favorite tropes: A sexy wife with a suspicious back story, an English professor husband who’s cheating on his wife with his TA, and a foolish girl next door who is just so desperate for attention. I mean, come on, you have to listen!
