Hey beautiful soul. Let’s talk about something tender: when a friendship no longer fits, and you’re left wondering if you did something wrong. In this episode, my radiant friend Chelsey Debruin-Colbert joins me for a heart-to-heart on what it really means when “she’s just not that into you.” Here’s the truth—not everyone is meant to go the distance, and that’s not a reflection of your worth. Sometimes, the release is the miracle. Inside this conversation, we unpack:
💔 What to do when a friendship fizzles or shifts
🌱 Why knowing someone isn’t into you creates sacred space for those who are
🔥 The difference between chemistry and true compatibility
🧠 How adult friendships require communication, clarity & emotional maturity
💗 How to release people with love, not resentment
✨ Why your energy is too precious to pour into misalignment
This episode is an invitation to trust that if she’s not into you, it’s because someone better aligned is waiting in the wings. Someone who sees your magic and mirrors it back. For every friendship that falls away, there’s room for a soul-aligned sister to step in. You don’t have to shrink, hustle, or perform for belonging anymore.
Perfect for women who are:
🌀 Burned out from people-pleasing
💗 Longing for authentic connection
✨ In a season of emotional healing and rediscovery
💛 Ready to prune what no longer aligns to make room for joy

Today on Overcoming Loneliness for Christian Moms, I’m sharing a simple three-step framework to help you approach tough conversations with love and grace. 1. Identify what is going on with you and what it's bringing up for you. 2. Pause and wonder—what might they be going through? This opens your heart to empathy. 3. Invite God in to show more love. Ask God to guide your words and fill the conversation with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 says, “Let all that you do be done in love.” When love leads, connection follows. Feeling a little down after the holiday rush? You’re not alone! In this episode, I’m sharing practical ways to beat the post-holiday blues and bring more joy into January. We’ll reflect on holiday memories, create a simple joy plan, reconnect with friends in a low-pressure way, and focus our prayers on peace and connection. Let’s turn this month into a fresh start together!
Here are the prayer prompts from the episode:
1. Lord, thank You for the blessings and challenges of the holiday season. Help me to see the ways You were present, even in the busyness, and guide me to carry those lessons into this new year. Father, help me to find joy in the small moments today. Open my eyes to the blessings around me, even in this quieter season.
2. God, I ask for courage to reach out to others. Show me who needs encouragement or friendship, and help me to take that step, even if it feels hard.
3. Lord, when I feel lonely, remind me of Your constant presence. Teach me to rest in Your love and trust that You are working for my good, even in the silence.
4. Father, as I move into this new year, help me to see Your purpose for my life. Give me clarity, strength, and hope as I embrace this next chapter.
5. Heavenly Father, I sometimes feel like I’m falling behind or missing out. Remind me that Your timing is perfect, and that You are writing my story in ways I can’t yet see.
