Ernest Aines started playing guitar as a child in Australia. Songwriting came later, drawing inspiration from the Singer Songwriters of earlier decades. He’s recorded an EP Already Found, an album Spiral Bound and a number of singles, and is currently working on his next recordings.
Ernest has gone from busking in Melbourne to touring the US. Some shows are already sold out but you can still get tickets in a few cities.
Ernest’s music is alive and harmonic, layered with the organic dimensionality of the 12-string guitar. There is a comfortable familiar quality to the music while also being fresh and bright. The songs are personal and universal, doing what a good song should do, hold up a mirror to the listener.

Natalie Bogwalker and Chloe Lieberman have written a great book The New Natural Food Garden: A Comprehensive Guide to Growing a Bountiful Harvest with Less Work, in Partnership with Nature. Having worked and gardened and taught gardening together for years at Wild Abundance, this book was an organic next step.
This book is a significant contribution to the body of work on sustainability, an impressive collection of visual, text, and organized information. A person with no experience gardening will find more than enough to get started growing their own food. An experienced gardener will find lots of useful tips and specific information for growing dozens of varieties of plants.
Humans have been gardening forever, and especially during times where social upheaval, like war or political turmoil, effect access and supply chains, people return to gardening.

Javier Jara has been working on his latest album for a number of years, and it is now done! Our Rhythms, Our Voices is a collection of 12 songs, each the story of a real person, honoring Latin Americans for their contributions to The United States, while also exposing the scapegoating and oppression Latin Americans experience in the United States, especially in recent years from prominent politicians and media moguls.
The music is lush and beautiful. Javier is masterful on the guitar and his accompanists are likewise masters of their crafts. This music is joyful to listen to, and the lyrics tell stories, poignant and personal, derived from interviews which were turned into poems and then into songs.
Javier performs in the Austin Texas area, sometimes to benefit Casa Marianella a non-profit agency that serves immigrants in need of housing, and other resources.
