Changing it up this week! Recently Matt Krueger VC Women's Indoor NextGen Lead Coach, UBC Assistant Coach, one of the creators of New Wave and all round great guy gave a presentation on Including Sensory Information Into Practices.

Finally! We got him! One of the best personalities in our sport, Irvan Brar joins the show! Irvan played at UBC where he helped them capture a National Championship. Brar has represented Canada on the youth, FISU, and Next Gen National Team. He's also played pro in Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Denmark. We talk about all of this and his overall love for our sport and how he finds ways to give back.

Vancouver Open Champion and AVP Rookie of the Year Megan Rice joins the show! Megan grew up in California and committed to UC Santa Barbara before transferring to LMU. At LMU Megan would star on the indoor team and compete for both indoor and beach later in her career. Oddly enough, she never took beach seriously until her NCAA career and now competes regularly on the AVP Tour. We talk about all of this and more!

Team Canada Beach, Indoor Pro and UBC Alumni Coltyn Liu joins the show for a 3rd time.
Coltyn grew up playing for Apex & Fraser Valley before attending UBC. Coltyn has played for Team Canada's Junior and Next Gen Indoor Teams before joining the Beach National Team. Canada's newest Next Gen athlete Amy Ozee joins the show! Growing up in Maui Hawaii Amy started playing beach at a young age. She would go on to play at the University of Hawaii and Cal Poly in the NCAA. Amy's father is Canadian and represented us as a professional downhill ski racer and world class windsurf racer. When it became time for Amy to decide who she would represent on the FIVB World Tour she followed her gut feeling and tried out for Team Canada. We hear about all of this and more.
