After I had completed the assembly line versus rack-based format for your weight room, Mike reached out and asked to have a conversation. Mike had a huge influence on my decision to discuss this format.
This was an incredible conversation. Mike shared so much wisdom on why he set up his weight room the way he did. The organization and flow are impressive, to say the least.

In this episode, Tim and Corey break down how to manage a weight room you inherit from a predecessor versus building out your own. One thing becomes apparent we default to what we know. Weight rooms are ecosystems that we can influence by adjusting ingress/egress, the flow of the workout, the stationing of certain pieces of equipment, the organization of staff, etc.

In this episode, Tim & Corey discuss what is driving the program. Is it the weight room or the program you want to run? We may be naive to the fact that our weight room may be limiting us to the decisions we have to make based on our weight room's setup, availability, and flow.

In this episode, we are going to be diving into evaluation for programming. One central question we will ask is, if the testing does not impact your programming decisions, why test?
We need to find out two things: what exercises can we do and how do associate variables with them? Considerations for baseline testing are group size, how long we have to train each day and over how long of a period, and pre and post-testing or integrating into training-based testing.
