Well come on, I had to have Donners on the podcast! This week I caught up with one of my greatest friends, my former colleague and all round pain in the arse Donncha O’Callaghan. We kick things off by catching up about a secret bet we had with each other at Doireann’s wedding! We obviously chat about his brand new book 'Disaster Dad', he tells us about one particularly special team mate, and we also clear the air on some behind the scenes beef! Eric Roberts is someone who I've wanted to chat to for so long. We've briefly met on a couple of occasions, but never long enough for a good catch up. So that's pretty much what you're going to hear in today's episode 😂 The way in which his online career took off during lockdown was life changing, and in today's episode we hear about how Eric's life went from working as an SNA in Donegal, to rubbing shoulders with top celebs and traveling the world. Ok full disclosure, I had a bit of a fanboy moment recording today's episode. Our guest on Phone Truths this week is Baz Ashmawy. He's someone who's work I've always loved, and to be honest he's one of the main people I've looked up to from a career perspective for years. So to get to chat to him on today's episode was such a joy. This one goes from deep Dad chats, to a phone call that changed everything for Baz, to sleeping on pool tables whilst waiting to be saved by the Swiss.
