Hey there hoopers! If you're like me, the Raptors winning the chip last year made you both excited and motivated! Watching that underdog team conquer such a scary foe in the Warriors, albeit littered with injuries, just reignited the flame that got a lot of us hoopers into basketball in the first place! Of course, the heart of that team was veteran point guard Kyle Lowry, who finally had the postseason Raptor fans knew he was capable of. Hitting big shots, dropping dirty dimes and playing lockdown defense ended up being the keys to the series, and Lowry excelled in all of these categories; well, to me at least! Hey hoopers! You guys really loved our Victor Oladipo post on Instagram, @pnrpodcast, and that made us proud, considering that he is one of our favourite players in the league. A real hooper, Oladipo has skills and talent that, when combined with his near-impeccable instincts and feel for the game, make him one of the most dominant combo guards in the NBA, let alone the Eastern Conference. He disappeared from the public eye after his major injury in the 2018-19 season, but don't worry if you forgot about him in that time; we cover everything from his college/draft day impressions to his strengths and weaknesses as an NBA player. He's a certified real hooper, and one of the least talked about stars in this league!

It is with no joy of our own that we discuss the death of our biggest hero: Kobe Bryant. After a helicopter crash on Sunday took 9 lives away from us, including Kobe and his daughter, Gianna, we were absolutely devastated. However, we knew we had to record an episode as a tribute to the man, the myth himself, the Black Mamba. Sit back, take a deep breath; this was by far the hardest episode we have recorded, but it’s also the most important.
