Voting closes on June 24 and the 2024 Emmy nominations will be announced on July 17. The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on ABC on Sunday, Sept. 15.

Christina has had the honor of speaking to one of the stars of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Karla Sofía Gascón! Gascón talks to us about 'Emilia Perez', the film directed by Jacques Audiard, which was a sensation at Cannes. She talks about how this film & role is important for her as a trans person, her story and much more!
'Emilia Perez' is about Rita (Zoe Saldaña), a lawyer, who one day receives a phone call from a powerful stranger who turns out to be a cartel boss named Manitas. Manitas has a secret request to help him disappear from his life, including from his children and his wife Jessi (Selena Gomez), and undergo gender confirmation surgery to become the woman she's always wanted to be. Karla Sofía Gascón plays both roles of Manitas and Emilia.
