As we fast approach our special season "Pavee Song - Pavee Cultureâ paying tribute to the song tradition of the Irish Travelling people, (happening at the ICC Nov 16th â 19th), we are thrilled to bring you this short inspirational and heart-warming film. In it youâll see Brian Dalton, Director of âIrish In Britainâ talking about his organisationâs magnificent exhibition âLook Back To Look Forward: 50 years of the Irish in Britainâ which began itâs life at the ICC, before hitting the road to go on a UK tour which takes in Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham. Also in this film is Sarah Dunne, the daughter of the legendary Irish Traveller Singer PECKER DUNNE, (King of the Irish Gypsies). Sarah talks eloquently about her late father and in his memory she sings the beautiful Traveller song âDown In The Gutterâ
