In this episode we discuss the importance of pace and maintaining responsibilities.
You don't have to get it all right all the time!
If we are able to shake off the small things and take those tiny moments to yourself seriously, it's amazing how that makes us feel. We can get it all done and it doesn't have to include high stress levels just to get through it all.
Create a new mindset this month and redefine what the end of the year can truly be for you. We can pace ourselves when we are going at our own pace and not comparing our pace with anyone else.
Be gentle to yourself!

It's very easy to get stuck in a rut or in the same old routine and it feel like there's something missing.
There is so much magic when we move something to a different time that it usually happens, taking a different way to work or surrendering to the change that is itching or knocking on your door.
Today we want to congratulate routine if it is present in your life and also encourage the balance that is available when we simply do something different, and how present we become when we step out of what we normally do rather robotically each day.
It's ok not to be ok, and that is where being ok with change can begin.
If you are looking for that spark to come back into your life, why not be creative and courageous, break the norm and embrace what ever comes with it.
This is also very good for renewing your sense of self care and creating new ideas for who you are becoming.

Todays topic is an area that many people struggle with and something that we may wonder why we do it and how we can do less of it.
Procrastination is the act of delaying or putting off a task that needs to be done, often for something less important or more enjoyable. It's a common behaviour that everyone does from time to time, but it can become a problem when it negatively affects your well-being.
We discuss ways to overcome the amount of time you may be procrastinating, help recognise when you are procrastinating and how you can start to shift your mindset and put structures into place to be more productive. This will have a positive effect on how you are looking after yourself and your self-care practices.

Today we had the absolute privilege of Interviewing Billie Paea on the topic of Natural Body Building.
Resistance training and building muscle plays a vital role in our health and longevity. If we maintain muscle as we age, we age a lot better and are less likely to face a lot of typical issues that many encounter.
However you choose to do it big or small, don't box yourself in to Cardio or fitness, find ways to continue to build muscle, or at least maintain muscle to attain true longevity and get the best out of your future years ahead.
In this episode Billie mentions it's all about balance, not just working out but also prioritising recovery. When we focus on recovery just as much as the work out, it changes everything.

There's many ways our bodies cope during seasons.
Especially is the colder ones, it can make things feel like your pushing up hill a bit, and you're not quite sure why?
Perhaps is a small case of what many call the "winter blues" and it's a matter of finding what's going to connect you back to feeling yourself again.
Maybe it's a lack of connection with nature or our water intake, regardless it's ok to pause, enquire, and bring the life back into your winter to keep you going till the joy of Spring arrives.

One of the best decisions you'll ever make is investing into you.
Investing through learning, working consistently on something or simply paying attention to weaker areas in your life that you would love to see improved for your over all well being and happiness.
This can be done on your own, with a mentor, or someone who can just be accountable for you to remind you when you are doing really well, since we tend to be our worst critics. Taking the journey with someone who has achieved what you really want, in person or online, can save you years and years of trial and error.
We never tend to regret what we do, we mostly tend to regret what we don't do, so if there's something you wish you were better at, or an area in your life you want to turn into a strength, GO FOR IT! Why limit yourself? How would improving a particular area in your self care or lifestyle make all the difference?

Today we discuss the value and importance of being true to your word and how we ever so slightly change the truth and the impact that may have on our lives and authenticity.
In some way we all do this for many different reasons and can root from past experiences that lead to people pleasing, fear of failure and how we want to be seen by others.
We encourage you today to be true to you and challenge yourself to have the awareness around this topic and ask yourself why, and explore what comes up.
There is a powerfully humble practice that comes with practicing and being true to your word. We hope you enjoy this topic and are able to have some authentic dialogue with yourself as well as others.

Today we talk about the power of Self Worth and how that bleeds into almost every single area of our lives and especially our self care.
What are some beliefs or stories that you still identify with that don't allow your self worth to grow? How can we connect to our authenticity genuinely while creating a strong foundation of self trust, which then creates a strong sense of discernment and self worth.
Self care can be multi dimensional so take time to sit, reflect and listen to how you are treating yourself internally, and how you want to grow that relationship with your body and mind.

This is a great topic in regards to self-care because healing therapies can bring so much balance to your practices.
Today we want to tune in to the power of touch and all things healing. There are so many amazing therpaies out there and many people may not realise how great it can help your wellness by adding these into your day, week or month.
Have you ever noticed how when someone is sad or not well we are drawn to give them a hug or put our hand on their shoulder? Even to people we don't know that well. It is part of us that can give comfort to others and bring about a real sense of helping. This is the unspoken language of healing.
We discuss many ways you can help yourself heal through natural therapies and the benefits for being open to giving them ago. Something so simple but so very rewarding for your health.

Welcome Back! Today is all about Celebrating, and we chose this because we literally are celebrating our 50th episode here at the Press Pause Podcast.
We could easily carry on and perhaps wait for our 100th episode but why? when we can celebrate right NOW.
This is our message and as simple as it sounds it can be the difference weather you succeed or give up. How do you celebrate along the way?
It can be as little as a high five, or as big as buying yourself a trip away somewhere you've always wanted to go, whatever you choose, it's just as important as the goal itself.
If we are really wanting long term results we must celebrate to keep it fun, keep us motivated and it actually helps us achieve even more when we stop to reflect and acknowledge ourselves and efforts.
What can you celebrate today?

Have you ever felt like you're in a boat going down stream with no awes to steer yourself in a specific direction?
Direction can be determined by you and you can truly have what you want if you organise yourself, get clear with your intentions and write out short and long term gaols to help track your progress.
Today we discuss why we set goals, how to set them, and how even the smallest goals can have a tremendous impact on your future.
Getting clear in your mind about what you want is really important so you don't wake up one day unhappy, unfulfilled or simply confused about how you ended up where you have. Setting goals is about taking responsibility of the outcome you are creating for yourself in all areas of life.
It can be a lot to think about, but when broken down into different areas of your life, you can really make it fun and enjoy planning what makes you happy and content.

Today we explore the power of tuning in. What does tuning in mean? Have you ever had a gut feeling or intuition play out where it came true? This is one level of what we discuss today.
When we give ourselves the time to listen and 'tune in ' to what it is we need, what is going on around us and how this can benefit us on our self-care journey it is a simple effective way to align ourselves with our future vision. It is like a frequency that we can buid and develop and use to our advantage in many areas of our life that will guide you to answers and results you may not be aware off.
Sometimes wer are aware of what we should do but are influenced by situations or those around us. Have you ever inquired into if you do this or how this impacts you?
We love how these simples tools can help you to connect and make decisions that last, that bring a deeper level of awareness and can help shift the direction your current self-care practices are.
We would love you to come and join us.
