Join us as we complete the entire Torah Ohr and Likkutei Torah of Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, aka the Ba'al HaTanya in just 3 years.
Affectionately referred to by many as "The Chassidishe Parsha", these discourses allow one to get a fundamental grasp on the entirety of Chabad Chassidic thought that pertains to any given Parsha, Holiday, or Shir HaShirim. Rabbi Avraham Katz brilliantly divides the entire work so that each week one is able to learn at least one discourse that relates to the weekly parsha or proximate holiday, while at the same time completing the entire Likkutei Torah on Shir HaShirim.
The classes are taught by esteemed Rabbis Nissan Dovid Dubov and Chaim Wolosow, clearly reading the Hebrew text following the English translation phrase by phrase, allowing the listener to follow along in the original text if they would like. -
Based on the sefer "Gates of Prayer" written by Rabbi Shimshon Pinkus zt"l. In the Torah, the number 10 denotes completion or perfection. The Talmud relates that there are 10 distinct terms for prayer. To better understand these ten terms, enables us to tap into these ten diverse capacities, and to access this inner potential allows us to unleash all that prayer has to offer. Gates of Prayer explores this entire spectrum of prayer by delving into the meaning, significance, and implications that lie at the heart of each of these ten distinct concepts in prayer.

You can be Jewish in 30 seconds or less. Many of my colleagues Jewish and non-Jewish present their religions as an all or nothing insurmountable mountains of material. So, naturally, nearly everyone is going to shy away from it. It’s like sailing. If you learn some of the basics, you can sail a boat. You are not going to be in the America’s Cup or sail around the world, but you’ll love it anyway. I think a disservice has been done to Judaism, by always presenting all or nothing and telling people what they can and cannot do, and you have to give up this and that. The only thing that that results in is people walking away. But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can be Jewish in 30 seconds a week by picking a Jewish activity and make it part of your practice .

This podcast spans two decades, putting some of our earliest audio recordings shoulder to shoulder with more recent and contemporary lectures - all exemplifying the principle that Torah demands persistent, multi-angled study.
