Are you a high-achieving, high-earning Christian woman in business or the boardroom who secretly struggles with scarcity when it comes to money?
Scarcity is often kept as a secret because admitting it seems like admitting defeat. The triumph, however, is embracing stewardship - of time, talent and treasure - to break free from scarcity thinking!
Because the truth is: there is no scarcity in God's Kingdom, and what He has given you to steward is directly related to those He has positioned you to impact.
Hold my hand and let's unpack this together with three key questions:
1. What is your heart posture - are you believing scarcity surrounds you or are you ready to steward what God has entrusted to you?
2. Do you trust the Lord as your ultimate compass and provider (or are you only trusting yourself and worried you can't make the money you need?)
3. Do you believe if you don't show up constantly, work constantly, etc. that you'll miss out on earnings, clients or all God has for you?

It's February 2024, over half-way through the first quarter and I wonder: how's your strategy holding up so far?
What's that you say? You hit the ground running for the year and didn't make time to create a strategy, much less a God-honoring one?
I get it. You've got bright ideas, and you're bright eyed and bushy tailed about what's coming. And there's so many opportunities out in front of you may be thinking:
"I don't have time to waste on strategy because there is so much to get done."
"I don't even know how I can focus on creating a strategic plan when I'm already 2 months into the year, and I am all about running my business and being productive."
Let's face it. The world is so loud about what you should and shouldn't do to be successful. And for Christian entrepreneurs, we also need to think about the things that we're putting our focus on because we don't want to be wasting time on anything that doesn't align to the vision and mission that God has given us.
As Jesus asks in Luke 14:28, "For which of you desiring to build a tower does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?" I'm asking you:
What do you do when you've kept your strategic planning in house and close to the vest, and you're not 100% sure where you're going is where God is leading? Who's helping you with an objective 30,000 foot view of your business, asking hard questions and helping you see the blind spots?
Today I'm going to show you how to create a God-honoring strategy (and offering my help for you to create it!)

Have you ever been told that you have a type A personality as an ambitious woman?
Looking back on your life, it probably doesn't surprise you because you've been an achiever (or maybe even a chronic overachiever like me) your whole life. You probably like to be in control, you like things to be in their place, you're a go-getter, etc. (can I get an AMEN?)
But is it possible to temper that A for achiever by shifting to A for AMEN girl?
I believe we can redefine type A so we're saying AMEN more often than "let's make it happen!"

Once upon a time, I defined myself - anchored my identity - in my achievements, roles, titles, bank account, etc.
When I lost my high level job, my identity took a major hit.
When my inward fulfillment and contentment didn't match my outward success, my identity was "I'm not doing enough / what am I doing wrong?"
When your identity is anchored in anything that's subject to change, involves other people's opinions, or worldly definitions, you're always subject to sink.
The only place to be anchored is in Jesus, because only the Lord has the authority to DEFINE you!
Yet, how do you practically live out letting Him define you as a business owner?

After a recent keynote speaking engagement, an attendee approached me with this question: "How do I remain content in the pruning and growth seasons of my business?"
She related her story of great outward success by every measure, then realizing her next level growth required surrender to let her true CEO (Jesus) lead. Do you find yourself tying your worth to your pricing and how your clients "accept or reject" what you charge?

I believe it's a multi-layered issue that can start to be addressed by understanding how God made us to work and the value of consistency over constantly.
Let's be honest, the world is LOUD in telling us how we have to be constantly available, constantly online, constantly sharing our message. But it's really CONSISTENCY that makes all the difference!
So where in the Bible do you turn in your exhaustion for an example of consistency?
Nehemiah!
Nehemiah is a case study for us. He had no idea that God would redeem his consistency as cupbearer to lead the people to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem, but he knew God put a desire in his heart and positioned him in the role for some reason (there's that GPS again). Nehemiah built the King’s trust. And, by the time he asked permission to leave and rebuild the wall, the king not only allowed it, he provided materials and influenced leaders of the kingdoms en route to provide safe passage.
Nehemiah was consistent in his mundane (and life-risking) daily action. He sought God's direction at every turn during the process. He was consistent as foreman of the work. The result: the wall was rebuilt in just 52 days.

In honor of my 56th birthday today, and in gratitude for all our newer listeners, I decided it was a good time to share the transformation in my life and business thanks to Jesus that led me to this career as the Christian business coach for women. It's also the story of lessons learned, strongholds broken, and moving forward in a mission that wasn't part of my plan!
My testimony in a nutshell is ambitious woman gets lost on her way to the top, is found by Jesus, and He says, "why don't you let me drive, and you hold this map (the Bible)?" Then as I walked out my salvation (and still do), He said, "go teach my ambitious daughters what you've learned: to redefine hustle and walk out their assignment with clarity, serenity, and fulfillment."
And here we are today!
I pray this episode blesses you and gives you more insight to who this voice is that comes to you weekly on this show. I pray it gives you renewed hope in the obedience of letting Him define and direct you, putting that into discipline, and allowing Him to develop you, as you accomplish your mission in the marketplace!

Have you followed influencers in your line of business hoping to find the secret of success? I know I have, and somehow it still eludes me. Yet in my recent conversations with high-achieving sisters in Christ, I've heard them talk of exhaustion chasing the "big" things, and that led me to this conclusion: God wants us to go deep with Him, and He'll take care of the "big" according to His divine plan and timing.
Because we often think we have to go for BIG things, we discount the seemingly small steps of progress, and we forget that even those steps could create a ripple effect in our businesses, in the Kingdom, when we allow the Lord to use us. But how do we do that? We have to relinquish the position of god of our own businesses, because God is God and we are not. And THAT is truly the secret of success.
In today's episode, we're talking about what it means to go deep with the Lord because friends, when we go deep with Him and let him take care of the big steps in our business, we are able to walk out His divine assignment in divine alignment (listen to episode 232 for more on that!). And that means, we're able to walk with clarity and serenity and true fulfillment beyond the numbers, beyond the outward success!
