Tom Dixon's journey to become one of the world's most iconically recognisable designers has been anything but "normal”. A journey as interesting as the results it has achieved, and one that has informed his ever changing approach to his work.
A restless innovator, Tom continually challenges and redefines “normal.” His commitment to innovation has not only revived the British furniture industry, but has radically reinvented it, too. In 2001, he was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen for his services to British design, and is one of the few British Designers to become a household name.
In this episode, Mark Landini sits down with his long-time friend Tom Dixon as he shares his story with us.
