In our final Episode of the Rewired Consulting Podcast this year we were very privileged to be joined by Billy Miller.
Billy is a leading NZ based Technology and Business executive.
Originally from Scotland he has called NZ home for the last 18 years during which he has held leadership positions for some of NZ’s most well-known businesses.
He tells us about his early career and how that led into leadership roles both in the UK and NZ along with reasons for making the move to NZ.
He candidly talked through some of the most memorable experiences through his career both good and bad and how it shaped him professionally and personally.
Recently, due to personal circumstances he has moved into Fractional consulting roles which has allowed him to add value to a number of different businesses while also allowing more time for mentorship and getting involved with projects that really mean something to him.

In Episode 10 of the Rewired Consulting Podcast, we were joined by Gokul Gnaneswaran.
Gokul is a leading strategic and technical figure in the Data and Analytics space in NZ.
Through his work at Altis Consulting he has been instrumental in helping some of NZ’s top businesses define and execute their Data & Analytics strategies.

In Episode 9 of the Rewired Consulting Podcast, we turn our focus onto Information Security and had the absolute pleasure of being joined by Reyna Ramirez who is Information Security Manager at Partners Life.
We discussed her journey from working on the Helpdesk in her native Mexico and moving into leadership before specializing in Cyber Security and growing her career in NZ.
We talk through the highlights and challenges along the way and why she developed such a strong passion for her chosen field.
Reyna also offers some great advice for people thinking about a career in Cyber Security and how to keep yourself up to date with trends and being part of an industry community.

In Episode 8 of the Rewired Consulting, we had a great chat with Pete Yates, originally from England he has called New Zealand home for the last 20 years.
He has held technical and people leadership roles throughout his career, working in a vast array of industries including public service, consultancy, health, Telco, tourism and media.
Most recently Pete led the technology function of Mediaworks NZ, where he was responsible for leading team of over 30 people and a $20 million budget.
Today we are going to talk to Pete around his early career, his development from technical to people leadership, his proudest achievements and his view on the future of tech.
Pete has also recently just come back onto the market and gave us an honest take on the reality of finding work at a Senior level in current climate and how to keep positive and make yourself stick out in saturated candidate full market.

She talks through some of the innovative projects she been involved in at Tower and how she has built a high performing team as well as how she sees the future of Tech in NZ.

Noah is a Tech Leadership Coach with more than 20 years' experience in and around technology. He has held roles ranging from service desk to Devops, developer to CTO, in companies as small as 3 people and as large as 165,000. Noah works with people all over the world as a coach, CTO and consultant.
We will discuss Noah's career and how that led into Executive Coaching, we will explore Imposter Syndrome and how prevalent it is in leaders both new and experienced as well as the programmes of work Noah has developed to help grow leaders and become the best version of themselves.

In this episode we speak to Andy Rohan who is Software Development Manager at Fortune 500 Company Fiserv.
Hailing from Ireland originally, we talk to him about his career, leaving Dublin during the GFC years to move to Canada where he honed his skills and experience working across a variety of different businesses.
In 2018 he moved to New Zealand for role with Fiserv and he details that transition to NZ in what was to be his first management role and the challenges and opportunities that would bring.
He gives his take on moving from a technical role to leadership role as well as some insight into who Fiserv are and the type of services and products they provide and what his future looks like going forward.

In Episode 3 of the Rewired Consulting Podcast, we were joined by Warren Hills who is the Global Talent Acquisition Manager of EzyVet (Idexx).
We talked in detail about scaling a Global SaaS business and importance of a high performing recruitment function in enabling success.
Warren takes us back to 2017 and his early days with EzyVet and what attracted him to the role and the challenges that existed. He details how he formulated a talent strategy that would match the business goals and how he built a team that would support that.
He tells us about their approach through using technology and tools aimed at improving their processes as well as navigating Covid.
EzyVet's success continued to grow and led to an Acquistion by fortune 500 business Idexx in 2021 where Warren continues to own the recruitment function for their software platforms.
