If you are experiencing roadblocks and confusion in your life, this episode will start to make things that bit clearer for you.

In this episode, I’m sharing five life lessons I wish I could’ve told my younger self. These are the lessons I’ve learned through personal experiences—the hard way. While we can’t change the past, we can always learn from it.

    Here are the main takeaways:

You have plenty of time: Don't rush your life or feel pressured to have everything figured out by a certain age. Your path is unique and it will unfold the way it’s meant to.Life isn’t fair: Sometimes, we get caught up comparing our journey to others. But every person has their own struggles behind the scenes. There’s enough success for everyone.Ask for what you need: Unspoken expectations lead to resentment. Communicate directly and openly with those around you—don’t assume people can read your mind.Be your own person: Trying to fit in or live up to someone else’s expectations will leave you feeling empty. Authenticity is where true fulfillment comes from.Be kind, no matter what: You never know what someone else is going through. A simple act of kindness can completely shift someone’s day—and it will improve your own life too.

I am giving you actionable steps and real-life examples to help you apply these lessons to your daily life.

If you enjoyed today’s episode, please leave a quick review—no need for anything fancy. Just share a lesson you wish you had known sooner!

In this episode, I share the full story, the lessons I learned, and some crucial tips to ensure y'all never have to face the same nightmare.

In November 2020, my Instagram growth was skyrocketing. I was gaining followers like crazy, but then, out of the blue, I got a notification that stopped me in my tracks. This couldn't be further from the truth, but I had to navigate this unexpected hurdle. My immediate reaction was panic. This wasn't just a social media hiccup – this was my livelihood. But as fate would have it, I was also about to leave for a week-long vacation.

Being forced offline during this time turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Initially, I felt lost without my daily Instagram routine. But by day three, something incredible happened – I started to feel free. No more waking up with anxiety about what to post or spending countless hours engaging online. I reconnected with the world around me and realized just how much I had been missing out on. This break gave me a fresh perspective on how I wanted to balance my digital presence and personal life moving forward.

Remember, we're all more than the numbers on our social media profiles. It's essential to find a healthy balance and truly live in the moment. Hi y'all, welcome to a special episode of Samantha's Beauty Confessions. I'm excited to answer the questions you sent me on Instagram. Your engagement was amazing, and while I couldn't get to all the questions in this episode, I'll be covering the rest in an upcoming Q&A. Today, we'll talk about my backyard makeover, health journey, skincare routine, and how I spend my time outside of work. Let's dive in!

First up, my backyard makeover is nearly complete! I've built a deck around my cellar, re-sided the back of my house, and added new patio furniture. The transformation has been so rewarding, and I can't wait to share the final look with y'all. If you're considering a home project, I highly recommend it – it's worth the effort!

Next, y'all have been curious about my health journey, especially since I shared my PCOS diagnosis. I'm doing my best to cut down on sugar, and while I still indulge in the occasional banana split, I've significantly reduced my candy intake. My goal now is to find a balance between meal planning and treating myself. It's a work in progress, but I'm committed to improving my habits.

When it comes to skincare, I've been loving Skinbetter products. Their Interfuse Lines eye cream and Alpharette retinol have worked wonders for my skin. I also use the Trio Moisture Balance Treatment, which deeply hydrates without irritation. For cleansing, I stick with an Arbonne cleanser, and I start my routine with Hydrinity's Hyacinth Active Spray. These products have truly transformed my skin, and I highly recommend them.

Finally, outside of work, I enjoy creative projects like designing jackets and relaxing by the pool. I'm also learning to appreciate yard work now that I have a beautiful backyard to maintain. Balancing work and relaxation is challenging, but it's essential for my well-being. Thanks for tuning in, and stay tuned for the next Q&A episode where I'll answer more of your questions!

Tune in every Monday for new episodes, and don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more behind-the-scenes content! Let's grow together, one conversation at a time.

Hey y'all, welcome back to a very personal episode of Samantha's Beauty Confessions.

In this episode I am opening up about a particularly tough time in my life. If you're going through something difficult or if you want to hear how I managed to run a successful business while my personal life was in turmoil, this episode is for you. Expect a heartfelt, candid conversation about resilience, healing, and finding balance when life feels overwhelming.

I dive into the story of my divorce in 2019 and the emotional impact it had on me. It was a devastating period, and while my personal life was falling apart, my career was simultaneously taking off. The challenge of balancing work and personal life, especially when everything feels chaotic, is something I think many of you might relate to.

In the midst of this chaos, I sought stability in my career. It became a beacon of consistency and control when everything else seemed uncertain. However, I also used my work as a coping mechanism, and now I wonder if it was just a "band-aid" over a much bigger issue.

I felt like I was living in a tornado, caught in a whirlwind of emotions and responsibilities. Eventually, I had to slow down and rebuild. This process taught me important lessons about setting boundaries, embracing imperfections, and recognizing the importance of rest. It's all about learning and growing, even through the toughest times.

Through this journey, I've realized the importance of acknowledging and processing emotions instead of avoiding them. I've also learned that social media often presents a curated version of reality, which can be misleading. It's crucial to reach out for support during difficult times because a strong community can make all the difference.

This episode is a raw and real look at my personal journey, filled with insights and encouragement. If you're ready for an uplifting conversation focused on personal growth and healing, tune in!

    Key Takeaways:

Acknowledge Your Feelings: I stress the importance of confronting and processing emotions instead of avoiding them.Social Media vs. Reality: My story serves as a reminder that social media doesn't always reflect reality.Support Systems: I encourage you to seek support during difficult times, highlighting the value of community and connection.
