  • This week's show kicks off with a well-deserved victory lap after a successful week of picks. We also introduce some AI research that will never be used again. Giants vs. Panthers game is one of the first matchups we look at and somehow AI believes Saquon Barkley could play a significant role. In the Patriots vs. Bears game, AI cites Bill Belichick's strategic prowess as a key factor in favor of the Patriots. Closing the show, we take a look at Russell Wilson's comeback with the Steelers as we like Pittsburgh to continue to roll in a bigtime matchup against Dan Quinn and the Commanders.

  • The play of the offensive line and turnovers by Geno Smith in Sunday's loss to the Rams brought a lot of questions about which aspect may be more to blame for the loss. We dig into some of the answers from Mark Schlereth and his opinion as a former Pro Bowl offensive lineman. Plus, the disparity of the Seahawks quarterback under center versus their opponent reached a season high. Would it help or hurt Geno and the Seahawks if they line up under center more often?

Halfway into the Seahawks, we talk about how Seattle might consider approaching the offseason. Are minor adjustments needed or is it more beneficial to do a full overhaul on the team? Ken Walker could be looking for a big time deal after Chuba Hubbard landed a nice contract with the Panthers this week.

In the second half of the show, we take a look at the opponents of our NFC West rivals this week. The Overloard of the pick'em is happy and had to make one of the tougher rulings this week with so many members of the league picking 12 games correctly. John Schneider and a news organization's headline writer need to do better. And, in closing the show, many of us are under the large umbrella of Better at Life honors this week.

  • The Seahawks delivered a gut-wrenching loss in overtime against the Rams, falling 26-20. In our live postgame reaction, we dive into the emotional rollercoaster that was Sunday's game. Despite a strong defensive showing, the offense struggled with turnovers, Geno Smith's three interceptions seemed to doom the team, but then he put together a comeback drive in the final two minutes of the game. We get into the debate over the decision to go for it in overtime instead of taking the points.

We also highlight standout performances, including a strong game from JSN and the defense's ability to keep the Rams at bay for much of the game. Special teams also get a nod for their consistency, including a blocked punt that could have tipped the game in the Seahawks favor if not for a third turnover. As the team heads into a bye week, we discuss the potential for changes and improvements, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

  • Another week, another set of questionable NFL picks. From the Texans struggles to the Lions hot streak, we take a look at all the biggest matchups from the week. The Eagles continue their easy schedule against the Jaguars, and the Bengals are looking to get back on track against the Raiders. The Chiefs will very likely maintain their perfect record as they close out Week 9.

  • Was this one of the most embarrassing Seattle Seahawks losses in recent history? We kick off the show by comparing it to one of the worst losses from Pete Carroll's first season as head coach as we discuss the broader implications of a lopsided defeat. Was this performance an indicator of deeper flaws? The Seahawks' struggles in the trenches continue, but we disagree on how to proceed. Should the team force a commitment to the run game or continue to stick with strategies that have brought success to this point? With the absence of DK Metcalf, it had an impact on the offense but it didn't impact the outcome.

We also get into the leadership dynamics within the team, after comments made by Richard Sherman and others about the perceived lack of leadership. The issue seems to be more about a lack of cohesive messaging rather than an absence of leaders. With the Los Angeles Rams game on the horizon, could we see rock bottom for the team or could this game serve as a turning point for the Seahawks this season.

In the second half of the show, we recap the worst weekend of the NFL season. Not only did the Seahawks lose big, every other team in the division picked up a victory. We talk about the meetup at the game and the results of last week's pickem league. Do better call outs go to a runner who survived disorientation in the woods for almost a month and to Anthony Richardson who survived shaking a tackler. Better at life honors go out to a former Seahawks player and to the Community Notes feature on social media that is helping to inform people about Skip Bayless' nonsense.

  • The Bills flew across the country and beat the pants off of the Seahawks with a huge helping hand... from the Seahawks. A low in the Macdonald era and one we are going to want to leave in the rearview mirror.

But first, let's face the Bills Mafia music and discuss what went so, so so so so wrong.

  • We're geared up for Week 8 and ready for a perfect week of picks. We're locked in on our picks for Ravens vs. Browns and the Titans at Lions. With Deshaun Watson out, the Browns face a daunting Ravens offense, while the Lions look to dominate the Titans, despite Will Levis's mom's unwavering support for her son's team. We eventually get to some picks where we disagree in looking ahead to Jets vs. Patriots and the Falcons vs. Buccaneers. The episode wraps up with Monday Night Football predictions, and evaluating Russell Wilson's return to the Steelers.

  • Some big news to talk about this week to kick off the show as the Seahawks make an in-season trade for a linebacker from the Tennessee Titans. But it wasn't that long ago that Ernest Jones was playing for the division rival Los Angeles Rams. Now that two teams have moved on from Jones, is that an indictment on his play? Or were the Rams just averse to paying their former defensive captain because that is a position they historically don't give out big contracts to?

We also dive into the Seattle Seahawks' dominant performance against the Atlanta Falcons, highlighting Kenneth Walker's "flu game" and the first-half dimes from Geno Smith. As the Seahawks worked to pull ahead in the second half, was the team too aggressive in trying to deliver a killshot to the Falcons? We explore some of the 3rd quarter strategy the seemed to throw the offense into neutral.

With DK Metcalf potentially sidelined due to injury against the Bills, we talk about how Seattle's offense might adapt, with increased roles for players like Jake Bobo and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Will we start to see the team lean on their second best player more or will we try and see others deeper on the depth chart getting involved if DK needs a couple weeks of rest.

In the second half of the show we talk about some of the dominance along the defensive line from Byron Murphy. Is he having the type of impact on the defensive line that is allowing the team to remain undefeated with him in the lineup? We go from scolding a perfect week of picks from one team last week to celebrating a perfect this week. Congratulations to Danish Meadhawks on a perfect week of picks. Tune in to hear why a group of scientists need to do better for growing old seeds along with an account on X that may be giving out too much information on one of our Seahawks. A legend of Seahawks media passed away this week and so we close the show honoring what he did for the team and for fans.

NOTE: Nothing to censor in this week's show, so there won't be an UNCATFISHED version to release this week.

  • The Seahawks are back in the lead in the NFC West with a decisive 34-14 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, moving above .500 and showcasing what might be their most complete game of the season. We break down the top plays and highlight the defensive turnovers that helped seal the win. Boye Mafe's standout play and Ken Walker, playing despite an illness, were pivotal. With turnovers finally swinging in Seattle's favor, the team capitalized on opportunities, and the defense was able to close out a win for our Seahawks.

  • The episode kicks off with Adam, slightly buzzed and home alone, sharing his thoughts on the Broncos vs. Saints game, and Cody Barton's unexpected performance. Getting into this week's matchups, we start with the Jaguars vs. Patriots in London. At first, we think about taking our shot at each going 100% on picks this week together, but that option quickly derails from the start of the show. Stay tuned to hear how our pick'em league overlord dealt with one of her subjects picking against our Seahawks last week.

  • After a whirlwind of three games in eleven days, we take a breath to dissect what went wrong and what can be improved with our Seahawks moving forward. Looking back to the game against San Francisco, the impact of turnovers and missed opportunities doomed the team. However, there remains the potential for a bounce-back game against the Falcons, as Atlanta struggled to hold off the Carolina Panthers last week.

What can the team do to help build their identity amid some of the challenges posed by having a new coaching staff. We talk about which issues are fixable and how the team can regain its footing. Going up against the Falcons offers an opportunity for a balanced offensive approach and the potential for Geno Smith to have a standout game with a limited Falcons pass rush (as long as Grady Jarrett doesn't have his regular breakout game against Seattle). With a mini-bye providing extra time for adjustments, there's hope for a turnaround and a return to the win column.

In the second half of the show, we talk about some of the latest injury news and whether or not we've gone too easy on Geno Smith by not criticizing him enough during his Seahawks tenure. We get into the numbers behind what we'd expect to see with Sam Howell on the field. Do better callouts go out to Lids and to "Fake Wendy." Better at life honors go out to Gus Swayze surprising a group of Tampa Bay Bucs fans and Adam dives into uncharted territory with his pick.

  • The Seahawks first matchup with a division rival ended in disappointment as Seattle fell 36-24 to the 49ers, marking a third consecutive loss. From what might have been Geno Smith's worst game of the season to blunders on special teams, the Seahawks struggled to maintain consistency against a 49ers team that capitalized on Seattle's mistakes. We discuss the team's identity crisis, questioning whether the Seahawks are simply a bad team or if they can overcome their current woes.

  • How frustrating was the loss to the New York Giants? There are still elements of the game that have us scratching our heads. We get into the offensive struggles and the questionable play-calling decisions that are leading us to ask an important question: Is it a Ryan Grubb issue, or is Coach Mike McDonald more involved with the offensive philosophy than we have been thinking? We get into three things Mike said in the last two days that lead us to explore the philosophical approach of the Seahawks' offense and why it might be setting the team up for failure.

On the defensive side, the struggles appear to be more related to execution rather than philosophy. We take a look at the run game issues and linebacker performance, particularly focusing on Jerome Baker's "guesses." Despite the defensive struggles, does the offense bear the brunt of the blame for the latest loss? Special teams also come under scrutiny, especially after a blocked field goal that could have turned the game around.

Looking ahead, we preview the upcoming matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Can the Seahawks' defensive line capitalize on the 49ers' offensive line weaknesses and will the offensive line be able to slow down Nick Bosa and exploit the Niners' secondary? Plus, we're already seeing internal drama within the 49ers' locker room. Are Niners fans right that it is time to move on from their current coach? We suggest at least one recommendation. With a short week ahead, the Thursday night showdown will be another important test for our Seattle Seahawks.

  • The Seahawks 29-20 loss to the New York Giants 29-20 was a complete team loss, with struggles evident in every facet of the game. From an offensive performance that failed to find footing in the ground game to defensive lapses and a critical special teams error, the Seahawks have a lot to clean up ahead of Thursday night's game against the 49ers. With a short week ahead and a pivotal divisional game coming up, can they find a way to bounce back? Join us as we break down the game, talk about some key mistakes and discuss how the Seahawks can turn things around. It may involve adding motivational devices into the play calling booth.

  • Monday night's game, which ended in a 42-29 loss for Seattle, was a rollercoaster of emotions. While there were offensive and defense lapses, the offense looked like they were going to find ways to get back into the game throughout the night. We talk about our mixed feelings about the game and the offense in particular. While the Seahawks' offense, led by Geno Smith, showcased some impressive plays, the defense struggled to keep up, allowing Jared Goff to complete a perfect 18 for 18. But was Geno's game better than Goff's "perfect" game? Especially considering the pressure he faced from the Lions' defensive line, particularly Aidan Hutchinson.

Ken Walker's dynamic running style continues to be a bright spot for the Seahawks. He has shown that he needs to be an even bigger part of the offense throughout the game. We also look ahead to the Seahawks upcoming matchup against the New York Giants. We're looking to see how the team bounces back against an opponent that looks like they may struggle to put points on the board.

The Los Angeles Rams are struggling to keep points off the board with their defense. They dropped another game in the standings this week along with the Cardinals. Brock Purdy is looking a lot like Geno behind a mostly suspect offensive line and we'll be facing them next week. The refs from the game against the Lions need to do better, but maybe not for the reason you'd expect. Adam also spikes the football on an issue he saw coming years ago. Better at life honors go out to something we don't see as often in the political sphere and to a Seahawks player who should walk into the Hall of Fame.

  • The Seahawks got a 400 passing yard performance by Geno Smith and a three touchdown rushing performance by Ken Walker and they still lost by two scores to the Detroit Lions. Key injuries along the defensive line limited the pass rush and allowed Jared Goff to have a perfect performance on the day. An early fumble by DK Metcalf put the Seahawks behind early, but in previous weeks we saw the defense help limit the points given up from mistakes on offense. In addition to the three touchdowns, Kenneth Walker had an incredible broken tackle that still has us in disbelief that he never touched the ground.

  • The Seattle Seahawks are off to a fast start this season, and have a 3-0 record for the first time since their Super Bowl-winning season. Can this be a team we see in the postseason, or is there more that we need to see in terms of resilience and growth over this next stretch of games? Even if these first three games don't have fans looking ahead to the postseason, the rest of the NFL isn't showing us that there are many complete teams. One mark of an elite defensive team is the ability to limit points (especially against the bad teams) and that part of the team appears to be legit through these three games.

Looking ahead to the matchup with the Detroit Lions, it offers the Seahawks an opportunity for an early season signature victory - on the road on Monday Night Football. Geno Smith has put together some strong performances at Ford Field and we're going to look for that to continue against some questionable members of the Lions secondary. But can the offensive line hold up against one of the top pass rushers in the league right now? We'll see how offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb handles that test.

In the second half of the show, we take a moment to enjoy our status at the top of the NFC West while looking at the situation the San Francisco 49ers find themselves in. Could this be the start of the implosion that we've been predicting? The Cardinals had people thinking they were an offensive juggernaut, until they were shut down by the Lions defense. Do better call outs go to a betting site for having Seattle among their top destinations for a quarterback trade and to the Dolphins head coach. Better at life honors go out to an executive producer and to DK Metcalf for an honest moment in a press conference and dedication to improving on an area of his game that paid off this week.
