Sometimes we reach a peak of healing opportunity that is simply just a viewpoint. Even having done the healing work, even feeling as though old wounds have now healed, even accomplishing some of your dreams as of right now and then losing them in the process of self-discovery, it might still feel like nothing's really changed and you're right back to where you started. Feeling a void filled with external validation only to realize It's Time to Start Feeling, Again. The next mountain you climb after admiring the viewpoint is one where you are required to climb Alone But Far From Lonely. This episode is a reminder that you are not lonely nor truly alone in this journey even if it may feel as though you are.

Fear is not your enemy but your driving force towards fulfilling your wildest dreams. We've all been a victim to our fears. We might accept wearing other people's masks as a shield only to realize we are being haunted by the choices we made for ourselves. WilliE, Artist/Songwriter at Roc Nation (Founded by Jay Z) and I in this episode remind you that the next time you feel fear, take your power back and make the decision to do whatever you set your mind to do. Your motto should be, "Do it scared." Because what's the worst that can happen. Lessons? That's a blessing.

We’ve spent years as students and actually become good. So, how does 5 years feel like a tug of war? I’ve been fighting with myself for control while the judges are the ones listening to this episode today. The judges, successful or not, get to sit comfortably at my expense. She didn’t make it after university. She has a degree and works minimum wage? She majored in arts, that’s why? What I choose to do next, is finally up to me and maybe that’s scary but freeing. This episodes will feel like being ok in the dark but needing a flashlight just to be sure you made the right decision and ironically this is how we Art Students feel. So I guess here's to being freely lost, confidently (post grad).

What does it mean to graduate? The obvious answer is that I am no longer a student. The ambiguity begins to highlight the fact that I am no longer on my parents care plan. The rush to settle for a part-time job to secure government care is one I want no part of. The truth is I no longer have representation which intoxicates the fact that I am deeply lost in our world. What does it mean to graduate? I am forced to feel lost, again but freely.

As a kid, I used to place posters of Selena Gomez down on a flat and what was supposed to be a white surface. I'd then attach dollar store-bought tape to all corners, the center, and midpoints between the corners. That was my way of dreaming and hoping for the unexpected. What if you had a dream? What if all you had to do to dream was to be okay with not knowing what the unexpected could be? Arielle Siegel reminds us to always expect the unexpected as she is currently recurring in Hulu's Life & Beth as Amy Schumer's friend Jen. This episode goes out to all my dreamers.
