The temperatures here in the Northeast have been consistently in the 80's & 90's for about a month now, which isn't normal for us. So, I've really had to "up" my game when it comes to running in the heat. This week I wanted to bring you another My First 50k episode featuring my client, Jodi. But we had a lot of technical difficulties and ultimately had to push that recording to later in the week. This got me thinking about how we handle challenges (in life or in training) and how we often use the excuse: "I don't know how" or "I've never done that before" as a way to justify staying small and not going outside our comfort zone. In this episode I want to share an analogy that will help you to find the motivation to keep going even when you think you can't. (Hint: If at first you don't succeed - try, try again!)
