If youâre struggling to find a full-time role, or youâre not yet sure what you want to commit to full-time position, a contract role might be a great fit for you. In this episode, weâre sharing some of the benefits of taking on a contractor position, how to negotiate as a contractor, and key things to know about contract roles from an HR perspective.

This week's episode is a little different. I wanted to share with you my thoughts on âquiet quittingâ and âquiet firingâ. And more recently, âquiet promotingâ. Basically it comes down to assuming bad intent. Employees are realizing they may need to create some boundaries but companies are concerned they are disengaged and âquiet quittingâ. Or, an individual feels like more work and taking on more responsibilities but not getting a promotion, so therefore, they feel the company may be âquietly promotingâ them. On the flip side, people believe their company is sending negative signals about their role and their employment, and worry about âquiet firingâ. In my opinion, in all these situations, it all comes down to communication. Hereâs a thought⊠Let's actually start talking to each other!!
