Και πώς συνδέονται οι Cool Crips με το Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος; Το Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΙΣΝ) οραματίστηκε, χρηματοδότησε και υλοποίησε τη δημιουργία του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΚΠΙΣΝ) -ενός διεθνούς εμβέλειας, περιβαλλοντικά βιώσιμου δημόσιου χώρου έκφρασης, πολιτισμού και ψυχαγωγίας. Σχεδιασμένο από τον Renzo Piano και το Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) ώστε όλοι οι επισκέπτες να αισθάνονται ευπρόσδεκτοι, οι χώροι του ΚΠΙΣΝ είναι πλήρως προσβάσιμοι από άτομα με αναπηρία. Παράλληλα υλοποιούνται εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα που ενθαρρύνουν τη συνεργασία μεταξύ ατόμων με και χωρίς αναπηρία.
Οι Cool Crips ή αλλιώς ο Σπύρος και ο Γρηγόρης, είναι δύο νεαρά ανάπηρα άτομα από Κομοτηνή και Αθήνα που σκοπός τους είναι να κάνουν το ζήτημα της αναπηρίας mainstream και να αυξήσουν την ορατότητα των αναπήρων ατόμων, βάζοντας όμως μια νότα coolness, χιούμορ και (αυτο)σαρκασμού σε κάθε τους δραστηριότητα. Προέκταση των παραπάνω είναι να μειώσουν τα εμπόδια (κοινωνικά και αρχιτεκτονικά) που αντιμετωπίζουν τα ανάπηρα άτομα στην καθημερινότητά τους αλλά και ενδυναμώσουν τα άτομα αυτά ώστε να αγαπήσουν περισσότερο τους εαυτούς τους και ακόμα και να αναπτύξουν το εύρος των δραστηριοτήτων τους.
