It’s Gameweek 19 and the sisters talk about all things WOSO. There’s a 5 goals thriller at the bottom of the table with Aston Villa sneaking the win from Spurs. Man City drew 1-1 against Everton, not too shocking considering the list of injuries Man City are currently facing right now. It was also the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, where both Arsenal & Chelsea lost - a sad week for all sisters. They shared their support for the trans community and discussed a family filled Easter weekend. This week all three sisters visited the Emirates to see Arsenal smash a new record of 4+ goals in 6 consecutive home games. They chat about the controversial disallowed goal from Jess Park and the foul in the build up to Grace Clinton’s goal for United. Off the pitch, Madsen gets engaged and Ipswich get a cheeky visit from Ed.
This week we lost a close friend of ours, Nik Ward, after a long battle with Motor Neurone Disease. Nik worked relentlessly trying to make girls football a bigger and better place and he was pivotal in our Sister Goals journey, providing support and belief throughout.
