Justin McArthur and Jack Eaton are going to get to space, without taking Earth’s bulls**t up with them. As Australia plans for a future among the stars, we’re stuck hearing about the joyrides of billionaires — but there are far more interesting conversations to be had. 'Mates in Space' is a science comedy podcast about our space aspirations, featuring a mix of narrative journalism, interviews with experts, and (occasionally) jokes. It’s a bit nerdy, a bit sciency, and a lot of fun. Dr Karl, eat your heart out.
ABOUT THE SHOW: Mates in Space is produced by Justin McArthur and Jack Eaton, and hosted by P. Zinner & Co. For more info, check out our website at http://matesin.space.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY: Mates in Space was made on Kaurna, Gadigal and Wurundjeri Country, never ceded. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We also pay respect to other First Nations peoples. -

Is it just me or is time flying by? How do we make the most out of our short time here on Earth? That’s what we’re here to find out. I’m Justin Long and I’ve been an actor for most of my life, so I’m used to getting inside the heads of the characters I play. But now that I’m getting older (I’m in my forties, yikes), I want to peek inside the heads of real people to learn how they find meaning in life. I’m also very curious what their favorite snack food is, and what emoji they use most often — ya know, the REALLY important stuff. Every episode I’ll get personal with all kinds of people, from actors to musicians to deep thinkers who fascinate me. My brother Christian is on hand each episode to keep me honest, and occasionally remind me about some of the embarrassing things I’ve done over the years. Join us, or if you have more important things to do, that’s okay too — life is short!

What is love? Who invented dinosaurs? How did life begin? What's the best lighting system for a football game played by snakes? Science asks big questions but only The Pop Test answers them in a comedy quiz format. Andy and Al ask some frankly impossible questions. It's up to a panel of scientists and comedians to give their funniest or most enlightening answer for Team Science.

The world has never been more connected. Yet never more divided. We yell at each other from inside our echo chambers. But change doesn’t happen inside an echo chamber. It’s time to get out, to stretch our legs, to step on some land mines. It's time to have an uncomfortable conversation with Josh Szeps.

Hi! We are Mikee and Ben, two bros who met while doing PhDs. We've been in uni for a reaaaallly long time and have done a hell of a lot of studying between us. One of the most surprising things we've both learnt is that scientists are people. Normal, everyday, brilliant and funny people. Here we are going to chat to a few, about their work, their lives and have a bit of fun with them!

As a woman, you’re perfectly imperfect, overworked and seriously misunderstood. You’ve got the shits with your family, your boss is a ‘Grade A Dick’ and all you want is to sail away with P!nk to a deserted island and eat sourdough. Bliss! Oh don’t forget self-care – add it to the bloody list. But let's face it, we’re the smarter species and live longer.
Shanelle and Tamara navigate the steep learning curve of life’s shit storm, giving you permission to stop, feel heard, and pour your beverage of choice.
Spoken with humour, heart and truth, it’s survival of the fittest and nobody’s winning.
If laughter is your tonic and you’re flying by the seat of your pants, this podcast is for you. (And also for those brave blokes who dare to listen).
