In this episode of World Talk we will be talking to a man you may remember begging at the West Bay supermarket and Pink shop. This same man turned his life around and overcame his 7yr crack addiction. Brian “Dizzy” Yelverton, formally known as Dizzy is clean, sober and has reconnected with his children while helping those with substance abuse issues through his work in Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
This interview was created to help inspire those struggling with addiction as Dizzy was at the bottom of the barrel and was once famous for being a addicted to crack. Being shunned by society for many years did not stop Brian from finding the strength to put himself on a better path. Strength, I believe is in us all to conquer our fears.
