31st Century's very own idiots!
The second half of season eight begins, so that means we tank the story right? Freak of the Week presents: Mind-F**k!
Jimmy finally figures out who Clark is after snapping a picture of a red-blue blur (wink, wink fans) saving Lois from a mugger. All Jimmy wants is to be C.K.'s BFF and fellow confidant. Too bad Clark will do anything and everything possible to lie to Jimmy, so he brings in Oliver, a current alcoholic/sex addict, to do the same plan they did back in Hydro (#6.10)...smh. Meanwhile, Lois gets taken on a date by a new reporter who just so happens to be a certified Black Creek meteor freak.

#MostDisappointingSeasonFinale
Long story short:
Kara is Brainiac (doesn't make sense). Clark isn't doing anything to stop Lex from finding out how to control him. Chloe hates Kara lowkey. Jimmy gets way too much screen time. Lois is drinking while on the clock. The power of Cyrus defeats Brainiac. Lex finally finds out Clark's secret (it's a 5-minute scene).
James Marsters (Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) returns again as DC Comics original character Brainiac.

Smallville Presents: A Krypton Carol
Clark comes to the crazy conclusion that Earth, and everyone he loves, would be better off if he never existed. Jor-El overhears his stupidity and puts him in a simulation of a world that never had Clark. The Kents have a human son, Lana is married to a French Pete Ross, Chloe doesn't matter, Jimmy is Jimmy and Lois is somehow even hotter for Clark. What could go wrong? Oh, Lex Luthor is President of the United States and wants to nuke the entire world.
James Marsters (Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) returns again as DC Comics original character Brainiac.

The name is Olsen...James Olsen.
Chloe's secret hacking skills have finally caught up to her when Jimmy gets blackmailed by the feds in order to spy on Chloe to see what other "terrorist" acts she plans to commit. Meanwhile, all Chloe is trying to do is find Kara and Brainiac because Clark only wants to fix Lana instead of stopping Lex from getting the secret Veritas box in Zurich.

The Death of Lionel Luthor
A murderer, a horrible step-papa, even worst father and a billionaire. He will be missed.
Time to play the Who's Dumber? game! Lex murders his father for not giving him the second Veritas key. Lionel hid the key with Chloe, so Lex fires her and easily takes it. Jimmy got a picture proving Lionel's murder and sends out the info in a text message. Lois tries to help, gets shot then thrown into a freezer with Jimmy. Clark doesn't care about any of this and only wants to fix Lana because he's tired of looking at her.

Today's Top Word: V E R I T A S
Lex is somehow gaining back memories after a bullet in the head from 3 episodes ago. What are the memories about? VERITAS. Brainiac is back and wants Kara to "save Krypton". Probably a lie, but HELL YEAH! VERITAS! Lois and Jimmy Team-Up #2 to take down Lionel for crimes linked to...VERITAS. Clark chooses Lana over trying to save Kara...Veritas?
James Marsters (Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) makes his return as DC Comics original character Brainiac.
