Guess what? Sex wasnāt always deemed a sin. For thousands of years prior to the decision to deem sex a sin, ancient cultures held no shame about having sex. They did not demonize sex because they did not demonize the body, woman, or life itself.

On Saturday I arrived on the small island of Malta, which is to the west of Greece under Sicily. There are nine ancient temples in Malta that pre-date the Egyptian pyramids. They were built in 3,600 B.C. and beyond (over 6,000 years ago!). Some remains have been found from 7,000 B.C.
They are called āmegalithsā because they were built with large stones. In the Tarxien Temple, you enter through a stone arch before seeing a colossal stone statue of a woman in a skirt (which I believe represented the goddess). Surrounding her are large stones with spiral carvings.

You have the capacity to receive divine wisdom. In ancient times, we lived in closer connection with the earth. We knew how to commune with the elements and receive their messages. This was a regular occurrence in temples built in honor of the goddess.
The oracles of Delphi are reputed to have received visions from the living waters. Some say they chewed on laurel leaves. Others report that they breathed in the vapors coming from a crevice in the earth.
Yet, in order to access this energy, you have to open your own energy centers. You have to empty your mind. You have to allow the elements, your soul, the wisdom to enter you, to become one with you, to inform you. Itās a receptive process, not an active one.

I write to you with a heart that is simultaneously full of grief and gratitude. Currently, Iām in Athens, Greece on a 6-week spiritual pilgrimage. The week before my scheduled departure, I witnessed massive devastation and destruction in Asheville, North Carolina, where I lived for seven years, as the result of severe flooding.
This wasnāt the first time I experienced a flood. In 2008, I lost nearly everything I owned over a period of five hours. After being rescued by firefighters, and swimming through chest-deep waters, I began to question all I had ever known. Meditation became my saving grace. Instead of habitually looking outside of myself - as we are conditioned to do - I looked within.

* Historically, did our separation from the earth create destruction, or did we separate from the earth because of the destruction we experienced?
* Moving forward, how do we create harmony with the elements both within and without?

Embodied spirituality requires us to bring the light of our soul into the darkness, into difficulty, into our daily, lived experiences. We honor our humanity in its fullness, and we honor our divinity in its fullness.
When your survival fears are brought to the surface - be it through catastrophic events or daily occurrences - you have the power to transmute them with your light, your love, your divinity.
Your heart is your largest electromagnetic field. It has the capacity to shift your nervous system into a higher frequency and vibration.

Your body is formed by the energy of your soul.
Your soul passes through lifetime to lifetime. Along the way, it picks up various experiences, including what we call āsoul trauma.ā Trauma creates separation. Therefore, as the soul ascends and desires to return to Source, it has to heal these wounds of separation to come back into wholeness.
In this weekās episode of the Soul Sovereignty & Sexuality Podcast, I talk about how to heal past lives - aka soul trauma - in and through your body.
I will be traveling to three ancient goddess sites in October and November, including Delphi, Malta, and Pompeii, and offering a limited number of Soul Healing Activations from each one.
While there are many soul gifts to be activated from each site - such as oracular abilities, prophecy, sexual healing, goddess reconnection, channeling, and sacred union codes - there are also soul traumas that need to be healed if you had past lives there.
For example, in Pompeii those who worshipped Isis and Venus also experienced the destructive powers of the nearby volcano on Mt. Vesuvius. Those in Delphi were forced to prophecy on behalf of the male god Apollo even though the site was originally dedicated to Gaia herself. The inhabitants of Malta mysteriously disappeared after many years of living in peace and harmony with the land.
