Shahar reveals he had a stalker during a wild conversation about the hit show “Baby Reindeer”. We’ll wrap it all up with a special performance in which Leonard Cohen meets none other than Ishay Levi.

Yoseph Haddad was busy, so we settled on the (un)suitable pair for the task - stand-up comedians Shahar Hason & Yohay Sponder. Today: Miri Mesika managed to clear two hours off her busy schedule to come to our studio, but didn’t just settle for any regular visit - she asked our team to fulfill a long-time dream of hers. What kind of dream? A dreamy redhead with a British accent - the kind that doesn’t let antisemites off the hook (and even had one locked up). So, because you just can’t say no to Miri Mesika and her dreams, we also welcomed the screenwriter and 'hasbara' hero, Lee Kern (Borat 2)! We talked about Seder night, Israeli history and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (turns out Miri really knows her stuff), then heard about the radical changes that took over the UK these last few months.
As if that’s not enough - we’ll finish the episode with a couple of hits by Miri which we all know and love, including a special debut (!!!) of her new song, written in honour of all who lost their lives at the Nova festival.

אז בגלל שאי אפשר לסרב למירי מסיקה, הגשמנו לה את החלום והצלחנו לגייס אלינו גם את התסריטאי ולוחם ההסברה לי קרן (״בוראט 2״)!
נדבר על חוויות מליל הסדר, ההיסטוריה של מדינת ישראל והסכסוך הישראלי פלסטיני (נגלה לכם שמירי אכן בקיאה בחומר) ונשמע קצת על השינוי הקיצוני שבריטניה עוברת בחודשים האחרונים.
ואם זה לא מספיק - נסיים עם שני להיטים מטורפים של מירי שכולנו מכירים, ועוד ביצוע מרגש בטרום בכורה (!!!) לשיר החדש לזכר הנופלים ממסיבת הנובה.

What led her to quit after only 8 years? We’ll discuss the behind-the-scenes of Israeli Politics, and having siblings with special needs. Finally, stav summarizes everything with a heart-felt song, calling for the release of all the hostages. Enjoy!

Today: After a month-long break, the podcast is returning with new episodes!
Having arrived back from a successful tour in Australia, Hason and Sponder packed their bags and landed right back in the studio, to share their experiences from shows, the people they met, and the trip itself.
An hour and four minutes of Shachar and Yochai alone, though, could be kind of tiring. We brainstormed potential guests when a gift fell upon us in the form of rapper Ron Nesher. We spoke of career hardships, the desire for fame, the difference between being a standup comedian and a rapper, and family (with an exciting scoop). Furthemore, what’s the deal with Kanye West? Prepare for some tough criticism…

היישר מסיבוב הופעות מצליח באוסטרליה, חסון וספונדר אספו את המזוודות ונחתו באולפן לשתף בחוויות מהטיסות, מהטיול, מההופעות ומהאנשים שפגשו בדרך.
אבל שעה וארבע דקות של שחר ויוחאי לבד זה מעייף, אז חשבנו את מי נביא להתארח - ונפלה עלינו מתנה מהשמיים - הראפר (והחקיין!) רון נשר (הבנתם…? נשר, שמיים… לא משנה…)
על הקשיים בקריירה, הרצון להכרה, ההבדל בין להיות סטנדאפיסט ללהיות ראפר, הילדים והמשפחה (+ סקופ מרגש!) וגם - מה הסיפור עם קניה וסט? דיס כזה לא שמעתם הרבה זמן…

Today: News anchor Lucy Aharish and Comedian Elon Gold arrive at Shahar and Sponder’s new studio.
We spoke about Lucy’s childhood in Dimona, her work as a famous Muslim-Israeli Journalist during war-time, and enjoyed a Hebrew-Arabic-English lesson.
Elon Gold spoke about working with some of the most successful comedians in the world, and how to properly do “Hasbara” (PR for Israel during a time of mass hate). He also blessed us with a hysterical imitation of Donald Trump.

Today: Renowned comedian Noa Manor (also Yonatan Barak’s wife, but never referred to as Noa Manor Barak), made a guest appearance on the podcast, in which we spoke about last names, feminism, and her unapologetic standup comedy(the funniest kind), which redefined the term “Politically correct”.
Meanwhile, Shahar was late (suprisingly) after searching for parking for 45 minutes. He was soaked from the rain upon arrival, and recieved a sock-donation from the soldiers on the set. VIP guest Sivan Talmor Joined us for the second time, to sing in a way only she can. Today: Singer Avi Aburomi joined the podcast, speaking about his early days grown up in a Musilm family (he later converted to Judaism). From a rented studio in far-away Eilat, up until Menora Arena in Tel Aviv, his service in the IDF Logisics Corps, and a variety of conspiracies about the history of the Israeli town Nes Tziona.
Furthermore: what do all of Avi’s songs have in common? (hint: his ex girlfriends…)Would we really invite a singer on the show just to talk? To finish, we sang the hit song “Sapri Lahem Hakol” (Tell Them Everything). Last but not least, for dessert, we heard a special cover of “Hotel California”, that made Shahar go insane.

(Hint: it’s related to superman)Later on, Israeli rapper, EZ (along with his awesome guitarist Kotler), joined us to talk about performing during war-time, and discuss lyricism and emotion in music. We were then blessed with an amazing live performance of “Lo Hakol Min Alla”, an outside-of-this-world live improv session, and a special message directed at none other than Bella Hadid.

Today: Know that awkward feeling when the guests arrive before the hosts? That's exactly what happened to internet-star and comic Mor Chen, who had to start the podcast all alone while Shahar and Sponder were caught up watching football. Good excuse? Maybe… but of course, we made use of our extra time with Mor to plan a prank on two of Israel’s most successful standup comics. The mission: to leave the studio in a rage during the recording.
