Hosted by classical guitarist Adam Keeler and electric jazz guitarist Tim Mirth expounding on conversations they've had about guitar over the last 15 years. Both with over 30 years experience playing guitar, gigging, recording, teaching, complaining ;-)
"Adam and I have basically had a never ending guitar discussion for the last 15 years we've known each other. Everything from discussing great players, the plight of being lefty, to new gear, recording techniques, guitar techniques etc..." Says co-host Tim.
We thought why not share our discussions, it might be interesting to some people. We really get into some heated discussions sometimes about different topics from Modelling vs Real amps to what makes players great, etc... So we're sharing, cause we know the world needs more guitar talk.
Seeing the world primarily through different lenses, Adam mostly acoustic, and Tim mostly electric gives a pretty unique perspective on the whole thing. -

Every week we will take off and travel to a new destination where we will discover some fascinating things about our musical world. Whether it is the classical world of London, the theater music of Japan, or the drums of Ghana, we will discuss pieces, important musical topics, and interview composers and song writers. Our world is a buffet of music and it is time to eat!
We're an indie podcast, which means the two of us do all the work that goes into producing the show - that includes researching, recording, editing, and publishing episodes, working with advertisers, creating Patreon content and rewards, designing, sourcing and shipping merchandise, fixing tech snafus, maintaining the website and blog, social media, responding to listener emails...you name it! Sounds of the world has truly become a full-time job for us and we couldn't do it without your support!
If you like the show and want to make sure your musical passport stays up to date and TSA approved, and your plates full of fascinating mental "food" please set up a recurring donation. We'd be eternally grateful! You can do this at this link: https://app.redcircle.com/shows/b1eba219-2869-4000-a36d-a5873d9fb5d1/donations. Now get ready for some delicious servings!
