England's waterways are under severe threat from unseen pollution, and in recent years the solution to the problem from those who are responsible for safeguarding it, is to simply to monitor the water less.
This episode incorporates an interview with Lizzie and recordings from the riverbank ; as we paddled down the River Wey on the first two days of this 32 day relay, running up to the Lake District in the north of England taking measurements along the way.

As a former soldier, Jon brings a unique perspective to organizing, running and also taking part in this epic adventure race that spans 1,000 miles from Whitehorse, Yukon.

The River Severn is the longest river in the UK and in this episode I speak to Craig and James from SUP Shropshire who recently descended the river over four days to raise money for two important charities
Craig and James are both serving officers with the Fire and Rescue Service and as part of their roles respectively deliver rescue duties and water safety education alongside their SUP guiding and instructing

This week I speak to Tanvi Jagadish, the original Indian Surfer Girl, who is changing attitudes and expectations about girls spending time in the water across India, and in the process providing inspiration across the world
Multiple national champion and Ted speaker Tanvi, started with a love of the water which was stoked by her Grandfather and the Surfing Swami (US surfer, Jack Hebner) and became the first SUP athlete to represent India on the international stage.
