Carroline touches a little bit on what Women's Month is & more especially what Women's Day is here in South Africa. Despite this powerful movement of 20 000 women protesting against legislation aimed at tightening apartheid government's control over black women in urban areas that took place on 9th August 1956. We still face very many challenges here in South Africa & we're still fighting for our title of acceptance in society!

For so many years of my abuse I blocked out any sort of emotion. Even after leaving my abuser I still had this wall up & I was unknowingly putting my health at risk. Vulnerability is a strength NOT a weakness. It is ok to cry, it is ok to feel those emotions, but don't sit in those emotions. Let it out & let it go!!
