Salford student, Victoria Coleman, asks Professor of Urban Sustainability, Mike Hardman, about how cities and urban areas can adapt to climate change. Mike talks about how green infrastructure can help mitigate climate change and cool down our cities. Solutions like living walls and green roofs can make a difference. Salford is part of the huge Europe-wide GreenME project, which aims to come up with new ways of cooling urban areas to make them more resilient to climate change.
