  • In this episode, Lois and Will welcome national best-selling author Kute Blackson for an inspiring conversation about his newest book, The Magic of Surrender, a life-changing book that teaches you how to harness the power of surrender to live your highest purpose. Blackson draws on his own experiences, as well as insights from spiritual leaders and everyday people, to illustrate the power of surrender in all aspects of life, including relationships, career, and personal growth. His book encourages readers to let go of their fears and limitations and surrender to the unknown, in order to unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.

So often we think of surrender as giving up or giving in, as weakness, but what if surrender was the key to letting go of our unrealistic expectations about our lives and embracing what is showing up in the present moment. What if we used surrender as a tool to let go of the need to control life and manipulate outcomes, and to simply find the beauty and joy in our current life circumstances? Getting to the next level of life requires surrender - a letting go of the illusion that we are in control, letting go of forcing and manipulating life in to the limited version of how we think it should be. The more we are willing to surrender the more magic we can invite into our lives. Surrender, according to Blackson, is the password to freedom. Blackson shares poignant stories from his life to illustrate the power of surrender along with powerful action steps to lean in to surrender from forgiveness to innocence. If you are serious about leveling up in life, this is a podcast you won't want to miss.

  • Long before the advent of "modern medicine" indigenous tribes all over the world have been using "medicines" extracted from plants and animals in nature for thousands of years, yet somehow in our modern society we deem indigenous or natural medicines as alternative or unproven therapies when they were indeed the original medicines. In this episode, Lois and Will, along with special guest and Kambo practitioner Donell Wicklund, take on the topic of Kambo, which is a traditional Amazonian medicine that has been used for thousands of years for medicinal and spiritual purposes by indigenous tribes in the Amazon rainforest, primarily in Brazil, Peru, and Colombia.

Kambo is made from the secretion of the giant monkey frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor) and is applied to the skin through small burns made by a healer. Kambo is claimed to have various benefits, such as reducing pain, improving immunity, and treating a wide range of physical and psychological conditions. In recent years, the use of Kambo has spread outside of indigenous communities and gained popularity in the West as an alternative medicine and spiritual practice. The use of Kambo is traditionally associated with hunting and is believed to provide increased strength, stamina, and sensory perception. It is also used for medicinal purposes to treat a variety of ailments, such as autoimmune disease, infections, inflammation, and pain. In addition, Kambo is used in spiritual ceremonies and is believed to help cleanse the body and promote spiritual growth.

Lois attributes Kambo as one of the primary components of her profound (and medically documented) healing from a 15+ year battle diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus when western medicine failed her. She is now going on 7 years pharmaceutical drugs and symptom free. They discuss the safety and effectiveness of this incredible medicine (which its legal in the United States) and best practices for finding a knowledgable practitioner, along with ways to ensure a safe and productive experience.

Kambo contains a number of bioactive peptides, which are small chains of amino acids that can have various effects on the body. Some of the peptides in Kambo are known to have analgesic (pain-relieving), anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. Donell brings a unique scientific approach to working with this medicine so that we can continue to understand how the bioactive peptides contained in Kambo work. Overall, the exact mechanisms by which these bioactive peptides in Kambo work are not well understood, and more research is needed to fully understand their effects on the body.

Have you sat with Kambo? We'd love you hear about your experience.

    MEET DONELL WICKLUND:

Donell has spent most of her adult life exploring health, physiology, and functional medicine is dedicated to understanding how the human can function more optimally through exploring practices, tools and natural healing resources. She is incredibly knowledgable in the area of psychedelics, psychology and human performance. Donell can be reached at 561-699-0132.

  • In this episode, Will and Lois discuss the nature of duality and what is consciousness. The nature of existence in this 3d realm is duality - as in we all have the capacity for good or evil, light and dark, Ying and Yang. Life exists in a spectrum and learning to navigate the duality is what this human experience is all about. So many in spiritual communities are seeking to transcend the human experience instead of embracing the totality of it. We get to choose how we show up in the world, the impact we have, and the legacy we leave through the choices we make. This discussion is a call to action and deep contemplation on some higher-level concepts meant to get you thinking about your contribution to creating positive change. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this subject.

  • SENSITIVE TOPIC WARNING: This episode briefly discusses rape and sexuality.

In this episode, Will and Lois along with special guests Christy LeCuyer and Anastasia Mencham are holding nothing back. We said we were going to take on some spicy topics and dive into some uncomfortable conversations that gets to be had and this is one of them we see as problematic in the healing and medicine communities and that's the sudden rise in "Popup Shamans" as we call them. By Popup Shamans we mean the ones that sit in one medicine ceremony or have one mystical experience or decide Shamanism is cool and suddenly decide they've found their new career - with no lineage, no mentor, nor proper initiation or apprenticeship, or even a true understanding of what shamanism is  - they start holding ceremony and taking on clients. It's dangerous and is something that happening far too often leaving a swath of walking wounded in their wake. They share from their personal experience and give listeners valuable tips on what to look out for and how to protect yourself in ceremonial/medicine space - especially if sexuality  is being introduced into a "healing space" under the guise of tantra or sacred sexuality.

You can't just call yourself a shaman. It doesn't work like that.  The path of shamanism is a sacred one and it carries with it great power and great responsibility. It is a path of deep initiation. One just does not decide to be a shaman or will it so. It is a calling.

  • In this episode, Will and Lois take on the topic of false scarcity and the fundamental challenge facing humanity today.

We are living in a paradigm of manufactured scarcity and it seems most of humanity has bought into this false construct - which is continually reinforced through education, religion, government, and industry. Our entire economic system is rooted in scarcity - which creates a distinct separation between the haves and have-nots and fuels economic disparity. We talk often about the importance of healing from your woundings and ancestral traumas and ending cycles of dysfunction, but the reality is when people are operating from a space of survival and deep scarcity it’s hard to evolve and self-actualize and make choices from a place of power. Poverty in turn feeds violence and crime and issues of morality.  So how do we change it? How do we flip the conversation around scarcity on its head? Fundamentally we need to shift the paradigm we are currently living in. We get to change the way we look at things and the artificial scarcity model we are currently embracing.

This episode is full of heart-warming stories and practical ideas to get the conversation started so humanity can come up with collective solutions. Listen in to hear what we think the solution is.

  • In this episode, Will and Lois along with special guest and dear friend, Windy Woo, Certified Atmana Intuitive Life Coach, Certified Soul Realignment® Practitioner, and Breatherain™ Healer, dive into a controversial, action-oriented, thought-provoking conversation with lots of laughs mixed in -  meant to get you thinking... and questioning everything you know.

From the moment we are born we are indoctrinated, domesticated, conditioned, programmed, and homogenized and we are taught to blindly trust and give our power and authority away... and we wonder why so many are living disempowered lives?

How do we break free from the programming? How do we determine what is truth and not just what we were taught is truth? How do you learn what is correct for you? How do you break free from the pressure of pleasing and agreeing with family, loved ones, and friends and allow yourself to live a life in congruence with your own soul? It all starts by questioning everything and giving yourself permission to change.

Wyndi, Will & Lois each share wisdom from their personal journey to discovery and profound healing through questioning everything and continually re-evaluating belief systems through their unique perspectives.

If your life is not working and you are living deep in suffering and struggle or lacking peace and fulfillment maybe it's time to start questioning everything you think you know. Give yourself permission to get curious, evaluate your beliefs, observe what's working and what's not, and begin to question why.  We were not meant to live a life of suffering but to use the suffering as a catalyst for growth and evolution so that we might live in joy, abundance and peace.

We welcome your thoughts and perspective.

  • In this episode, Will and Lois discuss the power of intentional language and the importance of clearly defined communication, distinctions, and context - starting with the word TRIBE - which can be triggering for some people we have discovered. They dive into a deep discussion of what tribe means to them and how we create conflict at times when we cannot clearly express ourselves with words.  It is human nature to want to be seen heard, understood, and validated but often language gets in the way of true understanding. They discuss the importance of using language to set clear boundaries and also learning to express your needs, while surrounding yourself with people who allow you space to be heard.  Words are incredibly powerful tools for creation,  empowerment, and creating possibility. The language we use shapes our reality and defines how we are perceived, and understood, and ultimately our impact on the world. Will and Lois share from personal experience how they came to a deep understanding of the importance of decorum in discourse, self-expression, and authenticity. If we want to create tangible change in the world we must start by looking at how we are expressing ourselves, the language we are using, and how we are showing up in the world.  Mentioned in this episode:

  • In this episode, Lois and Will take on the highly charged topic of energy exchange, personal value, money and scarcity mindset. We all carry an energetic signature that we control whether we know it or own it. Our power and personal value are what we bring to the world and share with others and we either become givers or takers. They talk about energy vampires and materialism and how we define value and how we allow money and things to own us. They talk about the struggle many healers have around charging for their services and how to establish and own your value. Lois discusses how purging with plant medicines helped her to purge her attachment to things and how to take her power back. She discusses why boundaries are necessary for declaring your worth and value.  Will talks a lot about the idea of gifting and reciprocity - charity with dignity.  The things you own can end up owning you.

This is an important conversation that will get you thinking and empower you to take your power back. Are you a giver or a taker?

  • In this episode, Lois & Will invite listeners into a conversation around the uncomfortable topic of Radical Accountability and why it is a REQUIREMENT for healing. They break down the distinction between responsible and accountable and then dive into the concept of overcoming victim mentality. Lois shares a story about a time when she was in college and violently attacked while running and how that incident combined with a plethora of traumatic life experiences led to her becoming deeply steeped in victim consciousness, chronically ill, and suicidal.  She details how tools like psychedelic plant medicines, Gene Keys, and Gratitude Training allowed her to see how she was playing victim and ultimately led to her transformation and profound healing by taking Radical Accountability for her life.

Radical accountability requires intellectual honesty - meaning you must be completely honest with yourself - even if it is uncomfortable. You must take a hard look at your life and how you are showing up. Who are you being? Where are you giving your power away? Are you constantly seeking meaning and answers outside yourself?  Do you take accountability for your role in your relationships - especially those relationships that don't feel so warm and fuzzy? Do you blame others for your feelings -saying (person) makes me happy/sad/angry/frustrated, etc? Do you blame God, the Universe, fate, or destiny for the circumstances of your life?  Do you blame the weather, astrology, the government, or your genetics for your plight in life? Can you answer these questions truthfully through the eyes of the observer - not bad and wrong - and a desire to understand where in your life you are playing victim?

Lois states, "Here's the thing, anytime we place blame on outside circumstances or give our authority and power away to people or situations we make ourselves a victim. Victim mindset is what keeps us miserable, unhealthy, unhappy, unfulfilled, unhealed, and suffering. I believe it is the greatest evolutionary challenge facing humanity today.

    The antidote is radical accountability."

Radical Accountability begins with awareness it leads to conscious choice and ends in freedom. It is a requirement for healing. Listen in for ways YOU can take Radical Accountability for your life and take your power back. There is freedom from your trauma if you choose it.

  • In this episode, Lois & Will talk about the Core Values of Meraki Tribe Collective, the platform they created for Conscious Creators (Healers, Coaches, Lightworkers, and Medicine Carriers, etc.) which in their view hold a much greater onus to operate from higher values and principles, thus the importance of establishing core values and principles as a fundamental business practice and a guiding compass to shifting the paradigm around the way we do business and ultimately live our lives today. They deep dive into the Core Values they have chosen to operate their business and life from and share stories of how they arrived at these values:

Openness: Without an open mind (and heart) healing, growth, and evolution are not possible. Openness creates the space for real conversations to happen and for learning to listen to understand and create real solutions.

Transparency: More than ever this is needed today to see through the deception, power games, and manipulation being used so callously in business today that feeds greed, consumerism, and scarcity and how transparency leads to authenticity and free choice. Transparency leads to integrity.

Integrity:  The services you offer are a reflection of who you are. Integrity leads to being true to who you are and what you stand for. At the end of most business transactions is a person and that is why "it's just business" no longer serves the greater good as a business philosophy.

Collaboration: Working together for the highest good of all. We've been deceived by the concept of survival of the fittest and it's time to move from competition to collaboration.

Reciprocity: The importance of give and take, balance, and energy exchange.

Woven through this episode is deep wisdom to ponder and contemplate. Ultimately the goal is to implement a practice of business as a path to awakening and attracting like-minded tribe that shares these core values so we can shift the paradigm of business and marketing to a more conscious one that creates real prosperity. They task listeners to come up with their own core values and encourage them to start living in that space.

  • In this episode, Will shares his journey through life and the struggles and opportunities that shaped and molded him and ignited his unlikely combined passion for science and the paranormal. Will talks about growing up the youngest of five children and how his parent's divorce at age seven led to him becoming hyper-independent at a young age, as his parents were often focused on his older brothers' involvement in drugs and other teenage activities which changed the family dynamic. In spite of the challenges he faced, Will says that he is glad that his childhood taught him how to take care of himself in any situation.

Will describes his journey of exploring spirituality and religion, which led to questioning his beliefs and a lifelong seeking of higher knowledge from a very young age, and how a life-changing opportunity to travel to Africa during college profoundly impacted the person he is today.  He shares about his 20-year marriage and how the objectifying of his former wife led to disruption in his marriage and landed him in a plant medicine ceremony which led to his healing of some karmic wounds and a deep understanding of self-love. Healing experiences from plant medicines to Pranic Healing (which led to him becoming a Pranic Healing Practitioner) and his practice of Aikido helped him truly understand and explore embodied principled living and self-love.

Human potential has never been greater and we are at turning point in humanity where we get to really focus on our own healing and taking the experiences of our lives to discover our path and greater service to the whole. This episode weaves a lot of wisdom and practical understanding along with concepts for personal contemplation.

Personal note: Will & Lois were both healing from covid when this episode was recorded thus the breathy sniffles. Thanks for recognizing we are human. :)

  • We are at a crossroads in humanity, old systems and paradigms are falling away. The way we’ve done things in the past is no longer serving us, and there’s this awakening happening, and a deep seated urge rising up within our psyche, deep within our soul, an inner urge to return to oneness.

This is an invitation to wake up. To educate yourself. To take your power back. To do your part, however small, to raise the vibrational frequency of this planet and the collective consciousness of humanity. This is an invitation to shine your light, share your magic, and illuminate the shadows so we can transmute them back to light.  Darkness always desires to return to light.

Todays episode will cover my first article Waking Up.... A Conscious Call to Action! where I lay out the thought process behind my desire to create Meraki Tribe Collective an online platform for conscious business

Lets collaborate and co-create a conscious economy together!

    Thanks for your support!
