This is a weekly podcast of funny stories for kids. There are side-splitting versions of my own fractured fairy tales. Also short stories from some of my best-selling books, featuring characters from 'The Adventures of Nanny Piggins' and 'Friday Barnes, Girl Detective'. The stories are perfect for bedtime, long car rides or even if you're just stuck waiting a really long time at the doctor's office. They're written for 7-11 year olds but these are tales the whole family can enjoy. The silliness is ageless. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoy recording it. After years of being a children's author, typing away in my office with only my goldfish for company, I was bursting to tell my stories out-loud and with lots of silly voices! So please - sit back, get comfy and enjoy some amazing, some silly and some just plain ludicous tales direct from my imagination to you.

Go on adventures with the character sharing their secrets and fears. Together, journey through unexplored territories while learning about beliefs that help build self-confidence.This podcast, combined with the ‘Letters from…’ series of books, helps a child, and adult alike, explore the possibilities of the world.

Hello there!! Welcome to Alberts Bookshelf. Albert loves books and here is his book shelf full of his favourite books read by Alberts Dad. From The Gruffalo to The Wonkey Donkey, from reading to listening we sat down and recorded some of his favourite books as a birthday present to him. For the times when Mum and Dad are at work, having this page means we’re always in his earshot and he loves them. So much so, we decided to put them out there for other children and parents to enjoy listening and reading along to. There lots of books you can listen to, if not now, maybe another time. Thanks for listening.

My Words, My Book, is an original children's podcast aimed at supporting children's love of books and reading. This comes at a time of national decline in children's reading enjoyment, according to the National Literacy Trust.
My Words, My Book features authors' interviews offering children unique insights into the creative process behind some of their most beloved stories and explaining what is it like to be an author.
The shows will feature fiction and non-fiction and combines interviews with emerging authors as well as those who are well known.
It will reach children across different platforms, podcast channels, YouTube and will be linked to social media channels.
My Words, My Book will offer a platform to authors who do not have the reach or resources to promote their books and will serve the many schools nationally and internationally that do not have the budget for author visits. Four charities will benefit from books donated by authors, Fences and Frontiers, the Grenada Community Library, Kinship and the South Norwood Community Kitchen.
My Words, My Book will be available for all children including those who are home educated, those attending school online and those who are in hospital.
The beauty of My Words, My Book is that children can watch or listen at a time that is suitable for them and as many times as they like. My Words, My Book is an evergreen resource.
My Words, My Book will be available on YouTube, Spotify and Apple. Follow My Words, My Book on social media. My Words, My Book is the link.
Please email Laura for all press inquiries, [email protected]. We can't wait for you to enjoy My Words, My Book. -

The perfect podcast for HP fans who want to revisit the story through an adult lens (AKA, NSFW), and with the added bonus of British accents, Hannah and Charlie lovingly tear apart the books pointing out plot holes, anti-feminist moments, transphobia, fat phobia, and most of all...dick jokes. Hello I’m Sophie Ellis-Bextor and this is my new series Spinning Plates where I speak to busy working women, who also happen to be mothers, about how they make it work. I am a singer and have released 7 albums in-between having my 5 sons who are aged between 1 and 16 so I spin a few plates myself. Being a mother can be the most amazing thing.. but it can also be hard to find time for yourself and your own ambitions. I want to be a bit nosy and see how other people balance everything. Join me while I speak to a host of interesting and inspirational women who’ve really made me think - and laugh, and sometimes cry.
Welcome to Spinning Plates.
