Gaz & Daz take a look at Johnny Cash and his 1962 rendition of ‘Delia’s Gone’. Johnny cash…Country and western singer, singer of ballads,a storyteller in song. In his later career,he recorded a version of ‘Delia’s gone’ as his simple mastery was embraced by recording genius Rick Rubin. The recordings from these sessions saw some of the most honest versions of Cash’s own songs, and the songs of others. These works brought Cash a new,and possibly younger audience, very late in his career.
So listen in,and enjoy….

That Line Right There’ has Gazz and Dazz bringing a more contemporary rock pop bent to this episode. We talk about a less known and perhaps less obvious track by the UK band ‘IDLES’, titled ‘A Hymn’.
The IDLES are a band currently at the height of their powers. Known for their abrupt but layered angular sound. Ferocious and emotionally raw lyric content. Their live shows have become in their present time, already legendary.
Direct assertive messaging, the IDLES are mirror to specifically English issues in a globalised world and this track ‘A Hymn’ is somewhat an antithesis to all that!
Tune in folks…
