This week I got to talk to Lauren about her experience with her daughter and her son. Lauren when overdue with both her children, with her daughter she had a long latent stage of labour therefore she had some pethidine to help manage the pain. However her 1st and 2nd stage came on much quicker. With her song she used the water to help manage her pain and gave birth to him in the pool. Two gorgeous, positive birth stories for you to listen to. Thanks!

This week I got to speak to Nicole about her experience with her son Oakley. After a few confusing appointments throughout her pregnancy she was admitted to hospital at 29 weeks with HELLP syndrome, a life threatening pregnancy condition which can only be solved by giving birth to your child. This lead Nicole to have Oakley at just 29 weeks and resulted in a 9 week nicu stay. Nicole takes us through the emotions and heartbreak involved in this, and finally the best day of her life, when she got to take her son home.

Hello everyone! I hope you are well! I just wanted to apologise on here for not managing to release an episode last week – but hoping this one will make up for it.
I got to speak to the lovely Erin about her experiences with her two children. We talk about her surprise pregnancy and positive birth experience with her son, as well as her 5 year unexplained fertility issues and a chemical miscarriage. She did eventually fall pregnant with her gorgeous daughter and we chat all about her accidently free birthing experience!
Just a heads up we both had our babies with us for this episode, however it is mainly my daughter you can hear throughout, although I have done my best to edit!
Enjoy!

This week I got to chat to the lovely Leah from The Snug Sleep. Leah is a certified sleep consultant and a mother to her 2 year old daughter, she does both 121 sessions for parents struggling and looking to help with sleep, as well as online sleep guides to read through in your own time.
Leah did a hypnobirthing course with her husband and was able to use all the techniques she learnt throughout her birth, resulting in a water birth.
This is a really lovely episode, I hope you enjoy!

Emily is one of my closest friends and we just so happened to fall pregnant 3 months apart. It has been so special navigating pregnancy and motherhood together. If you don’t have many other mum friends; join the baby groups, go to NCT classes, download the peanut app! It is one of the most valuable things a new mum can do ♥️
Emily did a hypnobirthing course and lots of research around birth. This really helped form her preferences and help her manage pain throughout labour. It’s a goodie, can’t wait for you to hear.

This week I got to speak to the lovely Hannah. She told me about her first birth with her son Alexander, which resulted in a c-section under general anesthetic. Because of this she had birth trauma, and she tells us how she dealt with this and managed to be ready for birth again with a second baby. Hannah went for a VBAC and that is exactly what she got. She found the experience of birthing her daughter extremely healing, and it is just beautiful to hear. Cant wait for you all to hear this one!
