As the Covid Inquiry Module 1 evidential hearings have come to an end, Elkan Abrahamson is joined by Nicola Brook and Lorelei King to discuss everything that has happened in court over the last six weeks.
In the final week, we were finally able to hear evidence from the bereaved. Four bereaved family members, each representing a bereaved families group in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, took to the stand to give incredibly heart-breaking and moving testimony about those they lost during the pandemic.
The legal team were also able to dissect what was said in the closing statements. This instalment of the podcast is the final one for Module 1.
