  • When we go into business, burnout is a very real threat, if we don’t learn strategies to identify and manage it. I learnt this the hard way. So I’d love to introduce you to a very special guest and expert in this space, Pamela Hunter. Pamela is an integrative health coach specialising in yoga therapy and aromatherapy, with over two decades of experience in holistic wellness. As a Diamond Leader with Young Living, she brings deep insight into the Direct Selling industry, having grown her own successful business while supporting others through health-focused leadership.

Pamela's journey began as a young mother to two boys, one with special needs, who inspired her to explore natural healing methods. Pamela’s life mission is rooted in helping others to find calm, center themselves, and thrive without burning out. Her authentic, grounded approach is informed by personal healing, motherhood, and a relentless commitment to helping others embrace mindfulness, movement, and the power of conscious breath.

  • Are you using Facebook the right way to grow your business? It’s a question every direct seller and entrepreneur should be asking. The reality is, social media is a powerful tool, but it's just that: a tool. It’s meant to enhance what you do, not replace you. One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is trying to outsource their brand entirely. But here’s the truth: no one can represent your passion, your voice, and your story better than you. Social media is about connection—real, human connection, and that can’t be faked or delegated.

To grow your business effectively, you need to show up authentically and strategically. That means understanding the platforms you're using, and using them with purpose. Today, I want you to think about the three main ways to show up on Facebook: your profile, your page, and your group. Each serves a different purpose, and knowing how to use them correctly can be a game-changer. We’ll break down how to choose the right one for where you're at in your business journey, and how to use each to generate leads and build real connections. Let’s dive in!

    We’ll be talking about:

    ➡ [0:00] Introduction

    ➡ [02:53] A quick reminder

➡ [04:02] Remember where your audience is at

➡ [04:23] Personal profile - creates personality and connection

➡ [05:29] Expectations about our audience and how we interact on social media

    ➡ [06:26] C stands for Connection

➡ [08:09] The most powerful way to promote your product

➡ [12:25] Business page: C stands for Credibility

➡ [13:16] Be clear about your brand

➡ [14:21] A business page is publicly viewable

➡ [16:43] Strategically place yourself in the path of your dream customer

➡ [17:54] Groups: C stands for Community and Conversation

➡ [20:22] Which one makes sense to you right now?

    ➡ [21:14] Final thoughts

  • What happens when the interviewer becomes the interviewee? In a fun twist on the Direct Selling Accelerator Podcast, my husband Greg Hind steps in front of the mic, not as a guest expert, but as the surprise host to kick off a special episode that’s been months in the making. This time, the spotlight turns to us as a couple, co-leaders of Auxano, and industry insiders, thanks to a clever setup by our team.

This episode promises spontaneity and authenticity. Our team had been collecting burning questions for weeks, only handing them over moments before the recording. That means no rehearsed answers, just real, candid conversation. “We’re going to talk about all sorts of things,” Greg teases, hinting at behind-the-scenes stories, business insights, and a few laughs along the way.

What makes this episode stand out isn’t just the content, it’s our dynamic. Our chemistry, both personal and professional, sets the tone for a relaxed yet engaging episode. Whether you’re a direct selling pro, an entrepreneur, or just someone curious about how we run a growing business, this episode delivers a peek behind the curtain.

So, tune in to find out, it’s one episode you won’t want to miss.

    ➡ [12:03] Marriage and business

➡ [26:16] Alex Shelton asked, what legacy do Sam and Greg wish to leave?

➡ [32:40] How do trade wars between USA and other countries affect the Direct Selling industry? A question from Chris

➡ [33:17] Reaching out means relationship building

➡ [34:34] Teagan asked, as parents to Addy, if Addy can work in one job, industry or interest, what will Greg and Sam pick at this point in time and why?

➡ [39:40] Another question from Ryan, what advice do Greg and Sam give to people who are on the fence deciding if diving into social media is the right fit for them?

    Quote:

People are not replaceable. You can make or find 'more' when it comes to time or things... But you cannot make a person, that exact same person in that exact moment, again. Never take their presence or time with them for granted.

    About our guest:

Coming from a retail and hospitality background, Teagan Edrich dove into selling Real Estate as a teen! When the opportunity presented itself, Teagan thought "it's all just people, let's give it a go!" From there, Teagan's passion for people truly began, expanding throughout her roles in sales, marketing, media, promotions, account management, small business, creative writing, business development and management over the next decade.

It was during that time that Teagan stumbled across Sam at an in-person conference, having been following her for a number of years and attending her online events. When a 'creative writing' role came up with Auxano during maternity leave, Teagan thought it was meant to be! Now, years later, and well and truly part of the Auxano Family, Teagan's role has expanded, covering everything from people to tech to creative design and building training content.

When she's not with the Auxano Family, Teagan enjoys spending time with her own family and anything 'outdoors'. Her happy place is going for a wander, exploring waterfalls, bushwalks, beaches and simply 'recharging her solar battery' - even in often cold Tassie (Tasmania, Australia).

  • Are you tired of scrambling to post on social media at the last minute? There’s a smarter way to keep your content fresh and consistent, without the stress. Let me share 5 hot tips with you.

Start by tackling your gallery graveyard, those hundreds of unused photos and screenshots sitting in your phone. Use those little in-between moments throughout your day to sort and organise them. That way, when you’re ready to create, you’ve already got a goldmine of authentic, powerful images at your fingertips, so there's no need to waste time searching.

What’s the real game-changer? Planning your posting strategies ahead of time. Think of it like a menu. Instead of starting from scratch each time, have a list of go-to content ideas ready to roll. All you need to do is plug in the pieces. This makes content creation feel easier, faster, and way more intentional.

And don’t forget about scheduling. Life is unpredictable, especially if you’re a working parent or juggling multiple responsibilities. Relying on being available at a specific time to post just isn’t realistic. By planning and scheduling in advance, you’re freeing yourself from that pressure. You’re making space for creativity, consistency, and calm in your content workflow.

Want to hear the rest? Tune in and listen to the full episode for more golden nuggets.

  • What makes a company truly stand out in the world of Direct Selling? Is it the products, the leadership, or the community it fosters? Today, I have the absolute honour of introducing someone who embodies all three, Sara Douglass, the CEO of Stampin’ Up!

  • Have you ever faced a situation so frustrating that you questioned what lesson, if any, could come from it? That’s exactly where I found myself after enduring what I can only describe as my worst travel experience to date. From lost bags, both checked and carry-on, to a severe bout of gastro that hit mid-flight, it was a disaster from start to finish. To top it off, flight delays turned what should have been a manageable journey into a 48-hour ordeal, all while traveling with a one-year-old.

At first, I wanted to forget the whole thing. But as I reflected, I realised this wasn’t just a nightmare; it was a powerful lesson. Challenges, whether in travel or business, test our resilience and mindset. They push us to adapt, to find solutions, and to grow.

If you’re building a business, particularly in Direct Selling, mindset is everything. It’s not just about strategies; it’s about how you respond to obstacles. The key takeaway? What we repeat, we retain. By revisiting our toughest experiences, we find wisdom and ensure we don’t have to learn the same lesson twice.

So, while I hope to never re-live that trip, I know it made me stronger, and maybe these lessons will help you, too.

    We’ll be talking about:

    ➡ [0:00] Introduction

➡ [03:49] Life lessons from a travel nightmare relates to business strategy

    ➡ [05:24] On-going learning experience

➡ [07:45] What you can and cannot control

    ➡ [10:26] Attitude toward challenges

➡ [13:13] You attract more flies with honey than with vinegar

➡ [15:24] Be present at the moment and put one foot in front of the other

➡ [18:00] One step over the other

➡ [20:03] You cannot feel fear and gratitude simultaneously

➡ [23:18] Choose gratitude over fear in your business

    ➡ [24:21] Final Thoughts

➡ [25:07] 2 things I’m going to ask you for

  • What do you do when you're feeling stuck or unmotivated? As an entrepreneur and a mother, I’ve faced my share of challenges. There are days when I feel drained, uninspired, or overwhelmed by setbacks. But what I’ve learned over the years is that while I can't control what happens around me, I can control how I respond.

One powerful lesson I picked up from a mentor is that where focus goes, energy flows. If I fixate on problems, they seem to grow. But if I shift my attention to solutions, opportunities start appearing. I love the analogy of teaching a child to ride a bike, if you tell them, “Don’t hit the rock,” they’ll hit it every time. But if you guide them by saying, “Follow the path,” they naturally steer away from obstacles. The same applies to life and business.

So, how do we redirect our focus? I use five key strategies. First, start your day with intention. Set your mindset before the day sets it for you. Second, practice gratitude, it’s a game-changer. Third, fill your cup; take time for self-care. Fourth, when in doubt, move your body, physical movement shifts energy. And lastly, the most important one? You’ll have to stick around to find out.

By consciously choosing our focus, we empower ourselves to create momentum, even in tough times.

    We’ll be talking about:

    ➡ [0:00] Introduction

➡ [06:48] Starting your day or week intentionally

    ➡ [08:57] Disclaimer: I am not perfect at…

    ➡ [10:08] Do some priming

➡ [12:24] It is impossible to feel gratitude and fear simultaneously

➡ [16:33] You can’t pour from an empty cup

➡ [17:41] Try cup sipping activity

➡ [20:25] When in doubt move your body

    ➡ [21:50] There’s value in breathing exercises

    ➡ [27:37] Law of reciprocity

➡ [28:58] When was the last time you commented on someone else’s post?

    ➡ [30:41] Short recap

    ➡ [32:03] Final Thoughts

  • How can businesses retain customers more effectively? Customer retention is not just a smart business strategy, it’s essential. Research shows that acquiring a new customer costs six times more than retaining an existing one. Yet, many businesses focus heavily on new customer acquisition while neglecting those who have already made a purchase. So, how can you ensure customers stay loyal and continue to engage with your brand?

One key strategy is delivering exceptional customer service. This means not just meeting expectations but exceeding them. Customers remember how a business makes them feel, and a positive experience can turn a one-time buyer into a lifelong advocate. Another powerful retention tool is personalised communication. Sending tailored messages, exclusive offers, or even a simple thank-you note can strengthen relationships and keep your brand top of mind.

Additionally, happy customers become your best marketers. Word-of-mouth referrals and third-party validation are invaluable, often driving new business without any extra cost. Encouraging user-generated content, testimonials, and reviews can enhance credibility and attract even more loyal customers.

Retention isn’t just about keeping customers, it’s about turning them into brand ambassadors. By focusing on excellent service, personalised interactions, and leveraging satisfied customers’ voices, businesses can create long-term success and sustainable growth.

  • How well are you managing your time? If you’re a busy parent, entrepreneur, or someone juggling a side hustle, you’ve probably felt the pressure of never having enough hours in the day. Time is our most precious commodity and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Yet, so many of us don’t treat it with the respect it deserves.

The good news is that you can reclaim control over your schedule and make time work for you. Here are a few strategies I’ve picked up from incredible mentors over the years—lessons I wish I’d known much sooner.

First, prioritise with intention. Start each week by identifying your top three priorities. These should align with your goals and values, ensuring your time is spent on what truly matters.

Second, schedule everything. Whether it’s work tasks, family commitments, or personal time, diarising keeps you organised and focused. Treat your calendar like a sacred space.

Lastly, embrace efficiency. Say no to distractions and tools that overcomplicate your process. Simplicity is often the fastest path to productivity.

The key takeaway? Time management isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing what matters most. By mastering your schedule, you’ll create space for growth, connection, and the life you’ve been dreaming of.

Let’s dive in together and explore how these tips can transform not only your business, but your entire approach to time. You’ve got this!

    We’ll be talking about:

➡ [01:34] Lots of things to juggle

    ➡ [02:25] Time yourself

➡ [03:15] Utilise the Facebook business suite app

    ➡ [09:05] Time block instead of multi-tasking
