    In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Olga Morton, a medical doctor and lifestyle medicine practitioner who specialises in supporting women through the Menopause, even if they can’t or choose not to take HRT.

    Olga started out as a medical trainee and after completing her medical program, she was curious to know more about auto-immune diseases and their triggers, and developed drugs to treat auto-immune diseases.

    Missing working with people, she became a family doctor. Through this work, she realised that while conventional medicine is great for treating acute conditions and illnesses, it struggled to get to the bottom of other conditions, which led her on to the path of lifestyle medicine.

    Today, she helps women understand their menopausal symptoms, and guides them through her five pillars of a healthy lifestyle that supports their menopausal journey, even without HRT.

  • Many years ago when I ran a women's network, I noticed that many of the women had been told once too often 'no, you can't do that, you're just a woman', and they had come to believe it.

    I realised that the encouragement and mentorship I'd received from my Dad, my bosses and mentors over the years, was rare.

    So in my opening talk for my network, I shared the lessons and inspiration I'd had the fortune of being given, which made a big difference in my life and career. And they loved it.
