On this week's podcast with Luke Jordan, Macdara Ferris is back on once again to discuss the latest action in the League of Ireland.
A slightly different opening to the show this week as Macdara discusses his time in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games, giving his thoughts on the games, the events, and the overall spectacle. You can read all about it in his latest postcard on extratime.com.
The lads then dissect the latest action from Irish teams in Europe as Shamrock Rovers and St. Pats both have huge games this week with a chance Europa League and Conference League play offs on the horizon.
With Shelbourne, Derry, and Shamrock Rovers all stuttering, does anyone want to win the Premier Divison this year?

On this week's pod Luke Jordan and Macdara Ferris begin with a quick look back at the Euros now that the dust has settled on Spain's win. They discuss some of the standout players of the tournament and give their assessment of the competition.
Then the talk turns to Icelandic football as they discuss the appointment of Heimir Hallgrímsson as the new Ireland boss and Shamrock Rovers progressing to the second qualifying round of the Champions League after a dramatic 2-1 win in Tallaght on Tuesday over Vikingur. We hear from Hoops Head Coach Stephen Bradley and goalscoring hero Johnny Kenny.
The Shamrock Rovers victory in the first qualifying round of the Champions League, only the fifth time a League of Ireland side has managed that feat in 14 years, guarantees them three more ties, €1.7m minimum in prize money and means they are one victorious tie away from group stage football.
