Dearest glamorous darlings,
It has come to my attention that one often hesitates on what to wear when hosting a botox and champagne party, an issue I'm sure, which keeps us all awake at night.
Such a horrendous dilemma was solved by Victorian and Edwardian ladies whose beautiful tea gowns constituted the utmost elegant outfit to entertain at home.
This emblematic wrapper of the 19th century adopted by the new ton acted as much as a reflection as a rejection of Victorian fashion and morality with designs embedded in a geopolitical and economic context.
Let me open the doors of my boudoir and whisper you the daring secrets of the tea gown.
Elegantly yours,
Carla Moulin

Let me open to you the doors of my boudoir and talk you through its evolution from a mourning garment, to cocktail dress gaining gradually a sense of sensuality, to later become a versatile accessory of self-expression.
