Erin discusses the self advocacy she had to do for herself on this journey and what life looked like as a blended family with all of the transitions they experienced over the years. She mentioned she had divine guidance along they way and apart of this process. Erin also reflects on the significant impact of receiving a kidney from a stranger and how she is appreciative of the journey and where she is today. The little moments is what carried her through this hard season and she discusses how she maintains a healthy lifestyle and CHOOSING to LIVE. There was a point along this journey where she felt like she was failing at everything. She was managing but she was failing at managing and living life in despair. She didn’t feel like she was worthy of receiving. During her season in the wilderness of waiting for a transplant she was reconnecting with parts of her that she forgot about and grateful how this journey has come full circle.
