Shaun worked in the Police Dog Squad for many years and the Covert and Surveillance unit, working on Major and Organised Crime.
A bloke who knows has lived and just wants to help.
We spoke about 3 AM friends, hard-fought and won lessons to keep moving in tough times, striving to help others and, as always, plenty of laughs.
Who is Shaun
Shaun spent three nights in a row, a Glock pistol in his hand, laying in bed trying to think of reasons not to end his life. To overcome his mental health injuries, Shaun spent the next 17 years immersed in the study of personal development, human behaviour and high performance to heal himself and live a happy life. He now devotes his life to helping others using the knowledge and education that helped him help himself.

It's easy being tough when you have never faced adversity. Would you lie down and die or fight with everything, no matter how hard it got?
Clay Watts spent 30 years in the military and police, serving with the Australian Special forces; he is no stranger to adversity, pain and suffering.
So when the prognoses came, "it is not good mate", his test began.
As the saying goes, "nobody kills Clay except Clay."
We spoke about Clay's fight with pancreatic cancer, which led him back into boxing and his new concept of using combat sports to transition people through life.

Professor, Psychotherapist, Philosopher, Fighter yep, you read it right! Dr Traill Dowie is a philosopher, academic, psychotherapist, minister of religion and martial artist. He holds dual PhDs in Philosophy and Psychiatry.
Traill is an associate professor of psychotherapy. Tra-ill has Trained with the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) using LSD, MDMA and Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms) in treating PTSD.
Tra-ill holds black belts in multiple disciplines. He has worked professionally as an athletic and performance coach for high-level athletes, including world champions.
We spoke about his work with Mind Medicine Australia, Brotherhood and trauma bonding, rights of passage, the need to fight, his favoured philosophers and his views on the stoics, and so much more.

Sasha offers us a thought-provoking alternate perspective applying some critical thinking to exposure the West's use of propaganda perpetrated by the media to control the narrative and garnish support for a NATO Expansion.

Dr Romain Fathi is a Senior Lecturer in History at Flinders University, Adelaide, and remains an affiliated researcher at the Centre d'Histoire de Sciences Po in Paris.
His work focuses on the transnational dimension of war and its aftermath in European and Australian contexts. The First World War, war commemorations and Australian identity are my primary research interests.
We spoke about Australia's nation-building during the First World War and how the Aussie digger took a massive role in forming the collective image of who and what we see as Australian and Australian values even if some of it was a little made up.

Dan Pronk was the Special forces Doctor for 5 years, with four tours of Afghanistan and over 100 combat missions. he's the doctor that can and did shoot back.
After service, Dan completed an MBA and moved into medical leadership roles, including deputy director of a regional hospital, medical director, and co-owner of TacMed Australia, and author and Italian sports car mad.
He is also the medic Dr Dan on Channel Seven's SAS Australia.
With a story like no other, he is the epitome of the humble professional with some real-world experiences and lessons we can all use.
