Remember those classic Atari 2600 games? They were sure fun to play, but didn't you ever wonder why they sent a plumber to take out Donkey Kong? What Yar was seeking revenge against? What made those robots go berserk? Me too? ATARI BYTES is more than a game review podcast. It's an exploration of the games to divine what exactly the story within the game is. And if we can't find those answers, we'll make 'em up.

Friends old and new join me in Derry and Toms roof gardens to discuss the work and influence of prolific British fantasist Michael Moorcock, as well as other bits of 60s and 70s genre fiction that came to me via my Grandad in the 80s and informed my world view. Books, music, role-playing games, wrestling in Featherstone Library and many other digressions await.

Every two weeks your host Greg and his co-hosts Leon and Rahul discuss comics in all their forms; monthly issues, collected volumes, graphic novels, newspaper strips, film tie-ins, TV tie-ins, flip-books, pictures scribbled on the backs of napkins...
If it tells a story in sequence through art and text, rest assured we'll have something to say about it.

Booky is your cosy, snob-free, genre-neutral, non confrontational corner of the pod-osphere for talking books, authors and writing. If you love to read, love to hear how your favourite authors started out or are trying to get your own writing career off the ground, you’ve come to the right place.
Journalist, editor and writer Nicola Adam will be chatting to authors and interesting people about their lives and careers, the books they love, and, about the obstacles they have overcome plus asking for their advice and tips. You’ll not get any literary snobbery here; everybody is welcome whether you read a book a day or a year, if you just love stories or simply enjoy listening to other people talk about their lives.

This is a weekly podcast of funny stories for kids. There are side-splitting versions of my own fractured fairy tales. Also short stories from some of my best-selling books, featuring characters from 'The Adventures of Nanny Piggins' and 'Friday Barnes, Girl Detective'. The stories are perfect for bedtime, long car rides or even if you're just stuck waiting a really long time at the doctor's office. They're written for 7-11 year olds but these are tales the whole family can enjoy. The silliness is ageless. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoy recording it. After years of being a children's author, typing away in my office with only my goldfish for company, I was bursting to tell my stories out-loud and with lots of silly voices! So please - sit back, get comfy and enjoy some amazing, some silly and some just plain ludicous tales direct from my imagination to you.

Small Ways to Live Well is a podcast from The Simple Things, a monthly magazine about slowing down, remembering what’s important and making the most of where you live.
Hosted by the Editor, Lisa Sykes, in Season 4: Fruitfulness, she’ll be compiling a could-do list for autumn, alongside colleagues and contributors.
As the nights lengthen, we can hunker down for winter or embrace autumn’s glory and use it to light our way through to the festivities to come. It’s a short season and our podcasts will help you make the most of it, both indoors and out.
We’ll get cosy and enjoy comfort foods but also step out to kick leaves and watch the season turn. Jolly traditions stop the slide into melancholy and there will be time to enjoy a story by the fire with tea and cake.
Expect crumbles and corduroy, magical pickles and big scarves. Released weekly from 27 October, this is your companion guide from when the clocks go back through to Stir-up Sunday.
